Corbin rested a hand on Matrix’s shoulder. “Moving more not be the best idea,” he said quickly. “Lay back down, Matrix,” he said, a slight pleading look in his eyes. “Or at least let me take you to my room to lay down.”

He sighs, shaking his head, "I'm fine, Corbin. Really. Are you ok? Are you sure?"

“Matrix, I’m serious,” Corbin snapped, having to take on the harsher tone to see if he could get Matrix to listen. “And I’m fine. Just sore from sleeping in a damn church.”
"It was for your safety. You'll thank me later " he stands, wincing and falling sideways.

Corbin quickly grabbed onto Matrix to keep him from falling too hard. “Go lay down,” he said sternly.
"No. I am fine. Where's Orion?" He looks around

“He’s in the kitchen,” Corbin sighed. “You’re too stubborn. It stresses me out,” he mumbled.
"Why do you always worry?" He hisses, trying to stand again as he shrank about an inch.

“Because I care about you,” Corbin huffed sharply, rolling his eyes a little bit as he crossed his arms over his chest, glancing away.
Matrix chuckles, "Obviously." He limps to the kitchen

Corbin shot Matrix a look. He stepped over to sit in a chair, resting his head against his hand. He shut his eyes for a moment, sighing softly. Why did this have to be so difficult?
Matrix stuffs his face with food as his legs go back to normal. He goes back to sit beside Corbin, leaning his head on the other's shoulder. His cheeks where puffed with the food

Corbin glanced over at Matrix, letting out a little sigh as he draped an arm around Matrix’s shoulders. “I’m sorry for snapping at you. It just stresses me out that you won’t let me help you,” he mumbled.
"You can. If you absolutely think I need it. I dont think so though." He says this as flakes of skin fall off his shoulder burns from the contact

“I really think you should. At least for tonight, then we can see how you’re doing tomorrow,” Corbin mumbled, his hand shifting to run his fingers through Matrix’s hair, gently massaging the scalp.
He closes his eyes, a funny noise coming from the back of his throat. Sure his back was agony but he could careless

Corbin arched a brow at the noise. “Are you okay?” He asked quickly and softly.
He nods with a sigh, "It does hurt… I cant hide it…"

“Come on then,” Corbin murmured. “Lets go lay down in bed. You’ll feel more comfortable,” he mumbled.
"Just on my stomach…" he stands, stumbling slightly. He had to lean on the walls to keep him up right. He crashes on the side of the bed, on his stomach.

Corbin stood, helping Matrix into the bedroom. He took off his shoes before getting in bed by Matrix.
The demon had face planted in Corbin's pillow. His horns hard grown put long enough to finally start preventing him from laying down properly like usual

While Corbin wanted to huff because he knew his pillows would get torn, he was happy Matrix had his horns back from when they were damaged when he was sold. He laid close to Matrix but didn’t wrap an arm around him, not wanting to hurt his back.
He hisses, "My dad sucks…" he snarls into the pillow

“I know..” Corbin sighed. He tilted his head to press a gentle kiss to Matrix’s cheek.
Matrix snorts turning his head the best he could to do the same just the forehead, "You've been through so much… Im proud." He laughs

Corbin smiled at the kiss and shrugged. “Mm, yeah. It’s been worth it,” he munbled, pecking Matrix’s lips softly.
"Has it now?" He says sarcastically, "Well. If I where you and had be locked up in a church with a guardian of hell until you are told by you demon's sister it is ok to come back out… I would say different." He buries his face back in the pillow, making sure his horns didnt tear at it

Corbin shrugged his shoulders. “You’re still alive. I still have you,” he mumbled out, reaching to massage Matrix’s scalp in a slow and soothing manner.
