"Yeah just….feeling a little weird today." He shrugged. "The pancake smell is making me nauseous."

Ash woke up to the sound of chatter downstairs. She rubbed her eyes and slipped down the stairs and out the back door to sit on the patio with her book. She glanced inside once more before beginning to read.
