Quinn nodded, glancing at his phone. No texts from Ellis…
(Hey guys sry I was camping but I'm back now)
Tim tipped his hat to the newcomer. "It's Eris, right?"
(its fine! Altho, er, I hadn't introduced Ellis yet, so…could/would Tim be talking to Eris?)
(Oh sry yeah I'll edit that, I meant Eris)
“Hi, Eris!” added Ivory, noticing her. She smiled. “What a coincidence!”
Quinn chuckled softly, setting the phone down. "Yeah."
Tim's phone buzzed. "Ope! looks like the mad Hatter's awake!" He glanced around. "Some of you wanted to talk to him…?"
Eris paused, tilting her head thoughtfully. "No, I'm looking for my father, but I'm… slightly lost." She shrugged. "I'll just keep wandering. I've got to find him some time this week if I search the whole town."
"I want to." Quinn said immediately. "Also a friend of mine, who should be here soon."
"I'll help you find your father, do you remember his name?" Tim said.
Eris nodded. "His name's Merlin," she told him. "He does magic, but I'm not sure where, and I usually go back to where he lives so he can remind me of things."
"Ahh, Merlin. I used to take flying lessons from him." Tim looked around, as if Merlin would be there. "Let's see if I remember where his tower is."
Eris tilted her head. "Flying lessons? I don't remember that…" she trailed off thoughtfully, then shrugged. "Ah, well, I don't remember most things."
"I think it's this way…" Tim pointed west and took off marching.
Eris hesitated before following. "Are you sure?" She asked before shrugging. "Whether you are or not, you've probably a better idea than I have."
Tim tapped his chin. "Hmmm, if I remember correctly, Merlin's tower is a ways away. We should start moving if we want to get there soon."
Quinn was silent. He needed to see Hank, but more importantly, he had to meet with Ellis.
Eris nodded, stepping closer to Tim. "Lead the way, good sir."
“See you, Eris,” Ivory said, in a friendly manner. She wanted to make sure the Hatter was doing better and she was also, admittedly, quite curious about the whole affair as well, so she wanted to stay.
Tim waved goodbye as he strolled away, Eris close behind.
