She got to the room Cassie was sleeping in and stood in the door looking at her face how relaxed it was it wasn't the tense glare she had seen all day "hey Cassie I'm done here. " she tried to get her to wake up without yelling
Cassie popped up with a start, wide eyed and panicked before she realized what happened and relaxed. "Oh. Right. You. Alright, cool. You go ahead, I'll close up shop here."

"Are you okay? "
"Yeah, I'm fine. You just surprised me, thats all. You can't exactly blame me for jumping."

"I was just making sure… I'm gonna head out it's pretty late you sure you're okay? "
"I'll live, Ash. I've been doing this for years, I'm the last person you have to worry about when it comes to something like this."

"Alright well ill see you tomorrow then have a good night. " she pushed off of the door frame and started to head towards the front door
Cassie gave a small wave and forced herself off to couch so she could close up the theater. She turned off lights, made sure things were in their places, and eventually locked up the front doors in preparation to go home.

Ashlyn made it home within 20 minutes it wasn't much it was a small studio she walked inside and threw her bag on the floor "ugh home sweet home. " she kicked her shoes off and flopped on her bed and passed out almost immediately without changing
(We need to give these two an actual reason to get along and get to know each other)

Ash had gotten up earlier that usual but she didn't waste any time she got ready made coffee and left in a hurry she got in her car a started heading towards the theater after about 20 minute her car started making a weird noise and smoke was coming from under the hood "ah you've gotta be fucking kidding me! " she popped the hood and got out of the car
Cassie was half asleep behind the wheel, humming along to the music she had blasting that was the only thing keeping her awake. That was, until she saw a cloud of smoke ahead of her and even more so, saw who was standing in front of it. Just my luck… She pulled to a stop next to Ash. "I thought Ash was just a nickname, not a warning."

Ashlyn looked up from the front of the car and saw Cassie "ha ha very funny, the block is cracked I'm gonna have to replace the fucking engine"
Cassie glanced at the clock in her car and sighed. "Get in. I can't just leave you here and I'm already running behind."

'You sure? "
"Yes, now come on. The last thing I need is for traffic to start piling up and then all of us are in trouble."

Ashlyn grabbed her things from her can and got in with Cassie "thanks.. I guess I just have bad luck. ' she said chuckling a bit
Cassie hummed in acknowledgement as Ash climbed in. "Seatbelt on, I've been told I drive like a crazy person. But is it crazy if it gets us there, I think not."

"A crazy person huh? "Ash buckled her seatbelt and laughed
Cassie shrugged casually as she shifted the car into first to get going. "Yes, I drive stick. Call me a purist, I think it's classic."
