"We, uh, the teacher asked me too…"
"Why?" Frostbite whispers.
He shrugged.
Frostbite pauses. "She's about ready to wake up…"
He nodded.
Frostbite smiles gently at him. "Her body is going to fall…you need to catch her…"
He nodded again, bracing himself
Frostbite smiles, before blanking out and falling to the ground.
He reached out, catching her.
A small noise escapes Karina's lips, as she blinks in the bright light. "W-wha…?"
"Karina?" He said gently. "Can you hear me?"
Karina blinks, as things stop being blurry. "Y-yea…" She whispers.
"Are you okay?"
Karina looks up at him. "N-Nick…?"
He smiled softly. "Yeah, Nick."
Karina sits up herself, hugging herself. "I-I guess you now know…"
He nodded. "It's okay."
Karina pauses. "I'm sorry…I should go…I don't know why your helping…" She puts up her walls, since she didn't know what he and Frostbite talked about.
Karina stands quickly.
"Wait-"
Karina stops at his voice, but doesn't turn around to look at him. Her voice was soft, dejected. "What…?"
