"I suggest you don't go," Tohru agreed, "You'll have to walk later anyway. Although, that said, no one is going to physically restrain you, so if you want to go that badly-"
"They're right," Lis agreed, "But I guess it is really up to you."
"He's right. He needs to move it a little, otherwise, Stiff Town." Rachel agreed.
She checked the gasoline on her tank and shrugged her pack to a comfortable position.
"But, we'll be moving a bit slower."
"I'm fine to go. I'll stay in the back if it makes you feel better." Kas shrugged a bit. "I've got my bow. I can protect myself from afar if need be."
Aspen looked around wildly, her head spinning, she had her backpack thrown over her shoulder, ready to get away, she waited around for the others to clear a path she wondered if she should stay or book it out of there, alone; like she originally planned to in the first place. She paced around the room nervously.

The siblings grabbed their bags and Lilac picked Mori up. Bean grabbed onto Aspen’s hand and tried to reassure her. Luka, meanwhile, looked outside to see if the coast was clear. “Okay, let’s go,” Lilac nodded as Luka walked back over to the others. “Yeah, we need to go now.”
Mori held onto the plush bird in his arms, huddling closer to Lilac. He seemed uneasy, but kept quiet, not wanting to bother anyone or alert anything to their presence.
Lilac held Mori close, brushing his hair with her fingers as she tried to reassure him. “We’re going to be okay…” she whispered, surprisingly calm about this situation. Bean and Luka nodded in agreement as Luka secured all the bags.
Aspen gripped Beans hand in fear, her head swirling with thoughts of various 'what if?' situations, she felt her legs growing weaker. What if something happens to someone? what if something happens to the kid? What if something happens to Bean? What if someone were to bitten? What if she got left behind, and this whole thing was a rouse, for her to trust them, and then leave her to die? she looked around warily, her backpack seeming to weigh a hundred pounds.
“Aspen?” Bean turned to the girl in worry. “Are you okay?” she asked as she tried to keep her up. She was worried sick about her. Aspen hadn’t spoken in a while and Bean was nervous about it. She held onto Aspen’s hand tightly. “I’m here…just…just tell me what’s wrong,” she whispered.
"what if I get left behind?" she asked quietly, not looking at her, she swayed on her feet a little, but steadied herself. She looked around, at the others.
“You won’t. I’ll make sure of it,” she hugged her tightly. Bean brushed a strand of hair out of Aspen’s face and kissed her. “We’re going to be okay…” she smiled. We have to be, anyway. Luka went back to the window and was keeping an eye on the group’s surroundings.
Aspen nodded and gave Bean a small smile, her eyes filled with fear, that she managed to push down deep inside herself, as not to disturb the others.
Bean held her close, trying to comfort her. Luka was about to walk away when he thought he heard growling. “Guys, we need to go, like, now!” he called out to the others. Lilac nodded, holding onto Mori as she headed over to the others. Bean held onto Aspen’s hand. “Let’s go.”
Mori tensed up a bit at the yelling and looked around nervously, his heart pounding. "W-What's going on? Why do we have to leave now?" He asked weakly.
Lilac held onto Mori tightly. “Just hang tight. We’re going to see what’s going on,” she whispered as she looked around. “Do you have your stuff?” she asked him, not wanting to leave anything behind. She had her stuff, sure…but everyone needed their things.
Mori shook his head and carefully climbed out of Lilac's arms so he could go grab his bag. He returned quickly and stuck close to Lilac once he had it in his arms.
Lilac picked him up once again as Luka shut the windows and doors. “Okay, let’s wait for the others to tell us what we need to do,” Lilac whispered to Mori, holding him close. She was scared but she couldn’t let him know that. He’d freak out if he knew.
"O-Okay… why are we leaving right now, though?" Mori asked, still seeming pretty nervous. "We have a lot of people hurt… it doesn't make sense to go right now."
“Because if we don’t leave now, more people might get hurt,” Lilac sighed. “We’ll figure out some way to get everyone out without causing more harm to their wounds…” she tried to smile as she held him close. “Don’t worry about it, though…”
Aspen stood aside, she had her hands perched on Beans shoulders, she leaned over to Lilac "don't worry, I'll protect you and the kid, just worry about getting out safely." She whispered, so Mori couldn't hear her.
Lilac smiled softly. “Thank you…” she whispered back as Bean nodded. “We should make sure we have everything,” the older Rose mentioned as she secured her bag. She didn’t want anyone to lose anything. After all, they probably wouldn’t come back.
"Why would people get hurt if we don't leave? Walking is probably not good for us right now, right?" Mori asked, holding a bit tighter to Lilac.
Lilac didn’t want to tell him why they had to go. She didn’t want to tell him that zombies had been heard nearby. “Just…we just need to go,” she sighed, not wanting to say more. “Trust me on this. It’s better for us if we go,” Lilac told him.
Rachel sighed. She hated seeing Mori like this, and to an extent, anyone.
Sure she hadn't known him for a week but now she felt like his…aunt? Twice removed cousin?
She didn't have the time to think about it. They had to get out of there before the zombies broke in.
Earl checked his ammo for what must've been the tenth time today, his nervousness showing.
He felt cornered, and like any cornered predator knew, it didn't feel right. He should be the hunter, not the hunted. Another reason he hated the apocalypse.
"Let's move out people."
Aspen had her bat in her hands, ready to swing in the direction of danger. She felt Beans hands on her shoulders, and stayed close to lilac, circling around her and Mori.
Lilac continued to hold onto Mori as Bean grabbed onto her own weapon. She would not hesitate to beat anything that tried to hurt her sister and the kid. Lilac’s knife was in Bean’s other hand because the last time Lilac used her knife, she got stabbed. Luka grabbed onto his own bat, joining his family.
Mori whimpered softly, curling in on himself as he clung to Lilac. Kas grumbled a bit to himself and tightened his grip on his bow, ready to shoot anything at a moment's notice.
Lilac held Mori close to her as she looked to her older sister. Bean nodded and prepared herself for battle. Luka did the same as he whispered in Lilac’s ear. “When we say go, you and Mori make a run for it and get somewhere safe. The rest of us will meet up with you,” he whispered, making sure Mori couldn’t hear. Lilac nodded, holding onto the kid tighter.
Aspen leaned over to Luka "don't you think someone should go with her? to protect them, incase Lilac cant get to her weapon in time?" she asked, staying in front of Bean, but turning to look back at her, a worried look in her eyes, then turned back forward.
