I'm in the mood for another apocalypse roleplay... (CLOSED for now, welcome to stalk)

"Oh, well…" Lis sighed, "I majored in marine biology. I really did like it a lot. Made a lot of friends, but I guess it doesn't really matter now because they're all gone. Even my roommate through and after college- my best friend, at that- she disappeared too. She went to visit family around the time this all started, and I was never able to get to her. But that's enough about all that. You wanted to know about my job, right? I mostly worked in animal care and education in the aquarium. I led a lot of tours in my time there. Loved working with kids the best."

Levi paused for a bit, thinking about how to say it. "I'm sorry about your friends." He groaned and rubbed his eyes with his wrists. "As kids, we always heard that the world was dying but it was always over-population, climate change, wiping out animal and plant species, killing the rainforests and coral reefs. I never thought that it would be zombies. Or that I'd be alive to see it."

"Yeah, fingers crossed." Levi said, "No dying on my part either, gays honour." He jokingly put a hand on his heart and the other up, palm towards Lis, then flicked it down.

"No, but seriously, no one else is gonna die, not if I can help it." Levi said, determined.

"We're all family now, we gotta look after each other." Levi nodded. He stood up to look out of the window behind them, overlooking the bleak landscape. "I wonder how many other survivors there are out there." He tapped his fingernail on the window frame. "I'm totally not stalling and trying to make conversation to avoid talking to Tohru."

(I shall make Aspen interact)

Aspen woke up with a jerk of her head, moving Bean slightly so she could get up, she stood, clasping her hands together and raising them above her head, a faint crack came from her spine and she sighed quietly.

She rubbed her eye's with her fist and walked over to Tohru, she waved to him shyly and said a quiet "hey." as she sat next to him.

(I cant remember where he is so I just guessed tbh)

Bean was still sleeping, curling in on herself. She was muttering in her sleep about who knows what. Luka was still with Kas, holding him close as he fought the urge to fall asleep. Lilac was probably with Mori, exhausted and drained from everything that happened.

Mori got up from where he was and headed towards where he heard voices so that he could at least be somewhere with people. He was tired and he still felt awful, but he was sure that everyone else did too. It was an apocalypse, after all, and he couldn't just sit around and mope. Kas was still asleep.

Aspen nodded silently, her eye's supporting dark purple circles underneath them.
"Yeah, im okay; as okay as I'll ever be I guess. What about you?" she asked him, her long,dark hair slipping down her shoulders in waves, cascading down her back.

"me too. Me fucking too." Aspen agreed.

She sighed into the air, and rubbed her eyes.
"You don't have to be okay to be honest, even if we are in the middle of the apocalypse, it doesn't mean you can't be stressed and hurting, just as much as before." She added.

"Gay panic. Yes. Mhm." Levi said, turning to stare blankly at Lis. "Is this what having a crush feels like? I've never felt it before." He said quietly.

"Should I go talk to him? Or keep talking to you? Do I never speak to him again?" He stuttered, completely flustered.

Aspen nodded slowly.
"I get it, my thigh still hurts from the gash, I hope it doesn't become infected I cut it on a rusty car." She said with a look of disgust and distaste.

Lilac pulled her hood up and groaned softly as she hid her face. She was too tired to deal with everything and it showed. She curled in on herself as she tried to get some rest.

Bean continued sleeping, whimpering as she twisted and turned. “N-No…” she mumbled as she continued shifting.

Luka eventually fell asleep next to Kas, still holding Hailey’s headband close to him. He slept as peacefully as he could, nightmares threatening what little peace he had left.
