Angelo tried to resist, but quickly got up. "Oh, what the hell."
He rested on hand on Habiki's thigh as he tenderly picked up an empanada.

Habiki ate his food, giving Angelo what he wanted " that was extremely good." He chuckled happily

"Thats good" Angelo laughed, leaning on Habiki. "But you should meet my mamá. I swear, she puts crack in her food or something."

" maybe I should. Let's do that today!"

Angelo blushed. "Oh… I dunno, I mean she's kinda…" He scratched the back of his neck.

"kinda what?" Habiki tilted his head

Angelo sighed. "Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to visit." She said shyly.

"come on!" Habiki said and got dressed. Habiki wore his best clothes and pulled his hair back

Angelo took a deep breath as he imagined what could happen. He sighed as he started to put on one of his nicer polos and slacks, brushing back his hair into the quiff he usually wore it in. "Let me know when you're ready…"

"any time!" Habiki said happily.

Angelo smiled faintly, then took one last look in the mirror. "Alright then. Lets go."

Angelo did what he always did, opened the door for Habiki and let the car warm up before beginning to drive. "My mamá lives about an hour away, if thats okay." He said softly as he pulled out

" yeah," he said softy. habiki turned on some music and relaxed

Angelo smiled as he watched Habiki, gazing at the sunlit road ahead. He occasionally sung along with the music, making sure Habki was comfortable. It wasn't too long before they turned into the neighborhood.

habiki looked around with interested eyes. " this is where you lived?"

Angelo smiled slightly and nodded as the drove through the run down streets, past old houses and chain fences. “Yep.”
He pulled up to a pretty old house in particular, a small dog barked excitedly in the front yard

habiki jumped out to pet the dog " hello..'

Angelo laughed, scratching the dog behind the ears as he went to knock on the door.
A short woman answered, excitedly hugging Angelo and speaking happily in Spanish

habiki understood a good bit of it, smiling happily "hola angelos madre, soy habiki. es un placer conocerte finalmente.."

Angelo’s mother grinned, nodding to Habiki. “And who might this be?” She asked Angelo, smiling at the other

Angelo blushed. “Well… uh… h-he’s…”

Angelo's mother stared for a second, trying to come to terms, when she pulled Habiki into a hug. "It is very nice to meet you"

habiki chuckled " thank you ma'am." he said

Angelo teared up, muttering a gracias to his mother as she invited them in

habiki looked around " woah, its stunning." he said softly

Angelo's mother chuckled with the same tone angelo had. "I am glad you think so. Not so stunning to me." She gestured to an old couch. "Sit, sit."

habiki sat next to angelo and smiled " what was there to worry about?" he asked

Angelo leaned closer to the other. "I-I dunno… I mean, I thought since the rest of my family is kind of…" He smiled brightly. "I'm just so relieved.

His mother brought over a tray of chocolate marquesa. "I did always know." She said with a smile. "So, how did you meet Angelo?"
