The phone kept ringing, meanwhile, Angelo was being put in a stretcher, his car a smoking heap of unrecognizable metal

Habiki heard his phone tia go around " hello?" He asked " what's going on?"

An unknown voice was on the other end. Is this… Habiki? Emergency contact for Angelo?

" yes. What's goin on?" He asked as his voice broke. Habiki started to feel the disconnection with his alpha. His heart hut as he pieced together what happened.

“Angelo has been admitted to emergency care at North Pointe hospital. He was involved in a head on collision. We can give you more details in person.”

" o.. oh.." habiki almost dropped his phone. His hands were shaking as he called the only other person he knew "max!" He yelled though tears.

Max groggily picked up, probably just getting up this late in the afternoon. “…Habiki? Habiki what is it?”

" help! Help! Angelo's been in an accident.. I .. I can't get there.. i-" he choked out before fully crying. You could hear as he curled up on the floor. He was utterly sobbing.

Max quickly stood up, muttering an “I’ll be back” to Rose as he got his keys. “Oh god Habiki… Angie did?? Oh god… just stay there. I’ll be there soon, okay?”

" I.. I can't feel the bond." He sobbed.

Max quickly started to drive over, still in the phone. “I’m sure he’s okay. Alright? Just calm down. I’ll be there soon.”

Habiki headed the car pull up. Rushing out the door. "Max!" He wrapped his ar!s around the other for some kind of comfort.

Max stumbled backwards, a bit surprised. “Damn, Habiki. What happened to Angelo? Do you know?? Here is he??”

" all they said was he was in a head on collision.. nothing else. I have to go, he's at the hospital near here."

Max nodded, getting back in the car. “Near here… North Pointe?”

" I think, I .. I couldn't focus.." he said and hopes in.

Max pulled out, nodding. “Alright.” He drove off, going way over the speed limit

Habiki raced out once they got there, racing to his alphas room by the faint connection.

Angelo was in a medically induced coma, laying on a bed as a contraption helped him breathe. He had wounds all over his face and arms

" Angelo.." he whispered. "No.." he walked slowly to the bed. His tears burned like acid now. " This is my fault.. I.. I should have come with."

Max couldn't leave. He knew Rose could take care of herself, and he didn't know what would happen to Habiki or Angelo. He wasn't invited into the room, so he stayed out in the waiting area, nervously drumming his fingers as he thought about what would happen to his best friend.

A nurse was tending to the machinery, before looking to Habiki. "Aww… honey. Don't put yourself down like that. It'd only make it worse, and I doubt he would want that." She gestured to Angelo.
"Depending on the severity of damage, we might be taking him out of the coma in about two days." She spoke softly

Habiki sniffed, ," really?" He asked softly.

The nurse nodded, then finished up what she was doing. "You're welcome to stay as long as you like. I'm a firm believer that coma patients are able to hear you." She said sweetly before leaving the room.

" Angelo..please.. don't.. dont leave your omega behind.." he spoke softly " I need you.."

A strong energy was sent to Habiki, a comforting feeling. Everything will be alright
