I'm Only Human

The earth has been ruled by humans for hundreds of years now. Vampires and humans have intermarried and created vampire-human hybrids and those hybrids have gone on to have kids. All hybrid's diets must consist of food and other hybrids' blood.

Purebloods, however, need blood that is at least 95% human to survive. Because vampires and humans have been mixing for so long, it is difficult to find someone who is even 95% human. Once one is found, they are usually sold off to a pureblood family for a very large sum of money.

The vampire world has just discovered someone who is 100% human.

Powers/Abilities: Can hear the heartbeats of people with human heritage. The more human they are, the clearer the sound of their heartbeat is. This is a rare ability and was caused by a genetic mutation, so only her and some people in her family have that same ability. She can also see in the dark and is a lot faster than people who are more human.
Personality: Sort of bitter but motherly, hateful toward her family, doesn't like interacting with other pureblood vampires, doesn't like to socialize but will sometimes flirt
Appearance: Tan skin, round almond shaped eyes, very black hair, dark brown eyes, small fangs, tall and skinny, high cheekbones

Backstory: Was born into a rich family of strict purebloods. Before Lorena was born, the 95% human that her family was feeding on died of old age. Her siblings died and her father was left in a coma for over 12 years due to starvation. Over time, Lorena befriended many people that were mostly human. She grew to hate her strict, bloodthirsty family, and hated the fact that she was a pureblood vampire as well.

Appearance: black hair, forest green eyes. she is slightly curvy but more skinny.

Clothing: he has a gothic plus S’n’M style complete with leather straps and chains, fur, velvet, silk, animal collars, masks and heavy military clothes.
Backstory: he is a pampered boy and was kept very sheltered but liked making friends with people who never had any.
