The war hadn’t been going on for very long but the damage was already terrible. Many planets had been taken by the enemy already, some to be killed, some planets to be used as bases or because they need slaves. It was disastrous, but that’s what war was. It didn’t care who dies along the way, as long as there was a winner. And the enemy was winning.

(I just realized the link I set for my character was wrong… I fix though)
Adam yawns. He was crouching on a partially destroyed roof of a building. His eyes narrow as he smirks at the horizon.

Akilia was on a ship, how she’d gotten there was unknown to her but it wasn’t an enemy ship, luckily. They’d just covered the horizon and they were looking for people who’d help win this war.
