Kira staggered forward yet caught the ball lightly. Her fingers fluttered over the neon surface, tapping out an anxious beat. The girl's jaw worked for a brief moment before she forced out a gruff, 'thanks.' Before she realized it, the ball was bouncing against the floor at a rushing tempo, speeding up gradually until she forced herself to stop.
Eris shivered slightly. She wasn't cold anymore, but - she shook her head. There were probably cameras.
She examined the cell, her lair, her place of solitude and peace. Sure, there was a girl who had telekinesis in this confined area, but the thrill of danger hadn't worried her before. And once again, the familiar thumping of the tennis ball beat through the silence.
Eris groaned and put her hands over her ears. That stupid noise was going to drive her insane.
Her hackles were rising, oddly enough. She tilted to head to the side and abruptly silenced the tennis ball. A comforting thrum of radiation crackled in the air. She had never felt… off, in her lair.
Eris shivered, probably because she was cold. She didn't feel cold though, anymore. She felt - "cameras, right? I mean, you have cameras in here, don't you?"
