Lars peered out of the window. "Holy smokes what a dust ball."

“Dust ball?”

He pointed at the nearing planet. "New Gaia. Look at it. That's gotta be sand."

“Oh that’s bad,” Victoria stated.

Lars shrugged. "It's pretty difficult to land on. Luckily you've got the best pilot at the wheel."

“Sure,” Victoria chuckled.

They broke through the atmosphere and Lars set the ship down gently. "Alright kids, we're here!"

“Yes, I suppose we are,” Victoria sighed.

Lars peered at the monitor. "We've landed near a front, so be prepared for the worst of it." He stood and headed to the door.

“Yay. The worst. Maybe i should grab more springs…” Victoria made for the ladder down to her workspace, but Lars stopped her.
