"thank you." She said quietly in response, taking the paper from the woman gently, as if not to be thought of rude and grabby.
Lavender stood up quickly, grabbing her bedspread she had already set up and shoving it in the bag she brought in originally. She then threw her art supplies and other things that would fit in her duffel bag, which was a sad beat up navy blue color.
She exited the room quickly. "I can find my way on my own." She assured the woman as she left her standing in the doorway as she hurried to the corridor which she knew held the 200 dorms.
She quickly passed students while keeping her eyes casted on the ground. She arrived in the 200's corridor and slowed until she saw the door with the number 208 next to the door on a small plaque.
She entered quickly, sitting her stuff roughly on the unmade, unchosen bed. Only when she sat down on her bed, which was not her choice and sighed aloud angrily. It was only then that she noticed her roomate— or so she assumed sitting on the opposite bed, scowling at Miss Lansing.
She stopped what she was doing with her hands and stared "hello Miss Lansing" she said to the woman then turned towards her new roomate.
"Im your new roommate now I guess." She said rather aggressively, she began to unpack her stuff again, setting everything where it was in her old room, art supplies in and on the desk and posters on the wall above her bed, which would support her blue wave patterned comforter and sand colored sheets and pillows.
