Jared snuggled closer to him when he was lifted, head resting lightly against Victor's shoulder.

Victor smiled a little bit as he carried Jared, humming softly as he made it to his room. He gently placed Jared down on the bed, making sure to tuck him in gently.
Jared shifted a little as he was set down, mumbling faintly.
Victor paused at that. "What was that?" He murmured gently, sitting down at the edge of the bed.
He went quiet again, still asleep. He rolled into his side, facing Victor.
Victor moved to his side again, gently running his hand through Jared's hair as he slept.
Jared let out a faint breath, leaning into Victor's hand. He shifted faintly, starting to wake up a little.
He smiled a little at the sight, humming quietly. He let out a soft sigh and relaxed as he played with the others hair.
His eyes flickered open a little bit. Still mostly asleep, he thought he was dreaming. "I really like you." He mumbled sleepily, eyes sliding shut again.
Victor paused at that, "How so?" He murmured gently, playing with Jared's hair. "I… Really like you too." He muttered quietly, a small smile on his lips.
He shrugged vaguely. "I know I shouldn't…I just do. I…you make me feel safe."
He smiled at that. "I suppose that means I'm doing my job." He murmured softly. "But I like you too, Jared."
His eyes drifted open again, and he looked up at Victor. "No, 's different." He mumbled.
He tilts his head a little bit, "What do you mean?" He asks gently, running his hand through Jared's hair, his eyes softening.
"'ve had… bodyguards before. 's a different kind 'f safe." He mumbled.
"What kind of safe?" He murmured gently, leaning his head forward a little bit so he could hear Jared.
He shrugged a little, pressing closer to Victor with a soft sigh.
He smiles softly, playing with Jared's hair and keeping him close. "As long as it's a good safe." He murmured.
"It is." He whispered.
He nods, seeming satisfied. "Good, I'm glad." He murmured softly.
He smiled a little, curling close to Victor and starting to drop off to sleep again.
Victor watched quietly, playing with Jared's hair and just staying relaxed. He started to doze off again as well, a small hum of content leaving his lips.

Jared woke up in the morning still curled close to Victor. He opened his eyes, blinking sleepily as the memory of the night before came back. He caught his breath, looking up at Victor's face.
Victor was sleeping peacefully beside the other, keeping Jared tucked protectively into his chest. He yawned quietly before his eyes slowly fluttered open. "Good morning." He murmured softly.
