"Why?" Kam looked at him, recognizing the words as a spark of fear lit itself in his heart. His mother needed him.

"I don't want to kid…" He halts, staring at his wrist. The word "Why" on his wrist. He looks at the kid. "You've gotta be kidding me."

So I've been in the car for the past 3 hours and we stopped at a rest stop. I was sitting outside on a bench waiting for family when this really cute guy sat next to me. He just kinda stared at me for a while, the he told me I was really pretty and put a flower in my hair. He didn't say anything else and just left…………….

Umeki looked around as he walked. He ran into a girl and was going to try and start a conversation, but he realized something as soon as he saw a person behind her reminding him of his mom, “Flippin’ flapjacks, I forgot the onions!” Umeki sighed. As soon as he realized he was talking to a stranger, he face palmed and thought, I’m a great conversation starter.

"Um, a, Eldhrimmer O Lovissa," Elanor said. "Dammit, sorry."

Umeki remembered that from somewhere and looked at his wrist, “Welp, I didn’t expect it to be said in this context,” he muttered.

El looked to her wrist, "Y-yeah, umm…"

"What's wrong?" Kam stared at the man's wrist, 'why' was written on them. He stared at his own wrist. 'Sorry, but now, I have to kill you.' He slowly backed away, disbelief written on his face. "No, no, no, no, no, no."

Umeki looked at the girl, “So, um, hi…?” he awkwardly waved at her.

"Hello? Yeah, I-I don't really know what to do now," Elanor averted her gaze to the right.

“Um…. so……. how are you?” Umeki tried to make it less awkward, but it seemed to have the opposite effect.

"Ummm… I don't know, have-have you had a moment to look at the scenery," She tried to smile, but just couldn't.

“Yeah, it’s, uh…. scenery,” Umeki rubbed the back of his head uncomfortably.

"Your lucky you get to have a piece of poetry permanently tattooed to you," She said, "I get Flippin’ flapjacks, I forgot the onions! forever on me…"

“Yeah, uh, sorry about that,” he laughed nervously, unsure of what to do.

"And it's not even English poetry," She sighed.

He was quiet as he stared at the other male, his sapphire blue eyes. He fought for the cause that there was no such thing as soulmates, and yet here his soulmate was, in all his glory. He gulps, staring at his wrist, shaking his head in disbelief.
