I walked up to the building, bag slung over my shoulder and a bright smile on my face. The building reminded me of something out of an old, school story. Maybe something I would have written. I pushed open the door and checked in, taking a pamphlet. It was a lot to take in. So many people to talk to!

(Well there are things called popular interest and there are things called fresh pavement. Both paths want to be walked. Something that is not a classic and is not fresh is something like "kingdom rp" "Forest rp" etc. overused not as popular)

I walked straight into the doors.
Oops.
So embarrassing.
Inside, were a lot of people, so I grabbed a little pamphlet-thing and walked around. I've never been to a writing convention before (not true in real life), so I just wandered around. I accidentally bumped into a girl (Hope).
"Sorry!" I apologized. I don't know why I was being so clumsy today.
"Hey, it's no big deal. My name's Hope. It's a pleasure to meet you!" I beamed at the girl. I was hoping she would walk with me through the day. That would make it even better!
I stuffed my hands into my pockets and walked into the convention. I immediately stopped in my tracks and stood in awe at everything around me. "This… is… insane." I remarked.
"Hey, it's no big deal. My name's Hope. It's a pleasure to meet you!" I beamed at the girl. I was hoping she would walk with me through the day. That would make it even better!
"I'm- uh- Adalie. Pleasure to meet you too." I mumbled.
"I know we just met and all, Adalie, but I was wondering if you'd accompany me today. It would be much more interesting." I could tell Adalie was a bit overwhelmed and tried to "tone it down"

This would be my first convention. My excitement was building by the second. Then again there would be so many people…
Taking a deep breath, I walked in through the door. My assumption was right. Lots of people. Quickly I took a pamphlet and began looking at it, making my way over to a bench.
"I know we just met and all, Adalie, but I was wondering if you'd accompany me today. It would be much more interesting." I could tell Adalie was a bit overwhelmed and tried to "tone it down"
She just asked me to hang out.
"Sure, I guess. I mean, I have no other plans…" I said awkwardly.
"Awesome. I have no idea what I'm doing." I did that thing I always did when I knew I was a struggling teen. I put my hands on my hips, put on a forced smile and let out a noise similar to a happy sigh except more of a groaning tone to it. "Let's go over to the bench and try to figure this out."
