"I-I'm f-fine. Th-thanks." Maroon choked out, his eyes desperately searching for a bottle of water. "I'll…I'll be alright."
Interdemensional RP!
Bennett read the kid's mind slightly, he snapped his fingers, a bottle of water transmuted out of thin air. He didn't like using his powers, but if he must, well… Oh well
Maroon spotted the water appear in the purple-eyed mans hand. Envious, he steadied himself using the younger, curly-afro-hair girl's hand and started to drag himself to the counter.
"Here you go." He said, tossing it to the young one with the glasses.
Odette's eyes widened, she had just begun to pull out a water bottle from her bag but another guy was already about 10 steps ahead of her.
Maroon opened the cap of the bottle and gulped the water down. He could feel his system going back to normal. He mumbled a thanks to the afro girl and smiled at her.
"No problem, do you want me to go hail a cab or something for you or…?" Odette replied
"And speaking of magic…" Bennett said. "Is that a magic satchel?"
"Um. No?" Odette turned to the man, her voice rising in pitch
"Suit yourself." Bennett said, as he walked to the bathroom.
Maroon waved her off, "It's okay. Thanks for the help. I'll ride the sonic transporter."
Odette sighed in relief, how on earth had that man guessed such a thing she didn't know, but she was certainly going to be more careful about using it in public - such things were difficult to get one's hands on.
She turned to the slightly older boy, who had made his way to the counter, "O-okay…" she replied, "Wait… the what transporter?"
Maroon looked at her, "The…" he realized his mistake, "Bus. Right, the bus."
(anyone wanna delay Maroon?)
"Oh.. well be careful.. um, what's your name?" Odette asked
(( oh and be careful not to bump into me, causing my bag to fly off my shoulder and send rubber duckies everywhere ;) ))
Maroon sighed, "It's Maroon, What's yours?"
"Odette… like, Swan Lake"
"Swan lake…I liked that ballet when I was young." Maroon smiled.
"I did too, it's kind of ironic though because I couldn't dance to save my own life!" Odette chuckled nervously, "I guess I should let you get to wherever you need to be Maroon.. Until we meet again." and with that, Odette made her way to the café door, reminding herself that she was in public and had to use the door, not just walk through it, like she would do at home.
Maroon walked past her, accidentally making her bag slip off her shoulder and spill….
(fill in what spills.)
"Lemme get some coffee, black… And some doughnuts" Bennett says to the clerk, slapping some bills on the table, he takes his stuff, and sits down.
( you asked for it… )
Odette's bag slipped from her shoulder, out of it spilt a keyboard, multiple rubber duckies, a jar of peanut butter as well as various other items too strange to list. Just as a bathtub was about to come out of Odette's bag she snapped out of her state of shock and picked back up her bag, gathering everything she could as quickly as possible, trying to avoid people's gaze.
Maroon dropped down on his knees, apologizing and frenetically grabbed the items, trying to push them back into her bag.
(I'm gonna sleep, see ya!)
"I should really find a way to close this thing so it doesn't happen as often as it does…" Odette mumbled to herself, "Perhaps if someone were able to make it so that when I want it closed it stays that way, but if I need it, it opens… a zipper could work too, but that seems much too tedious…" she glanced up at Maroon, who had passed her the last rubber duckie, silently thanking him.
(bai)
"I've got it, with your permission of course." Bennett says, preparing to fix her bag.
"T-that would be great, thank you so much!" Odette smiled
(( i need to go too.. >w< … ciao ))
