Rilla went next, strolling inside the barrier confidently. She had to appear that way, in front of everyone. She couldn't let herself show how worried she was about all of this. She had to stay strong.
Indigo took Lilac's hand and walked through the barrier. Lilac made it through easily and Indigo went through with a bit more difficulty. She wasn't used to not having magic, and would just have to adjust to the feeling, while her sister was rapidly blinking and holding onto Indigo for dear life. Neither of them thought about how Lila wouldn't be able to see where anyone was. This was going to get complicated.
Cersei reluctantly stood up and followed suit, sliding through the barrier with a small shiver.
Adella and Adyn stepped through the barrier, well, tried. Both were rejected by it. When they tried to walk through, they ended up on their butts.
Quentin strolled through, followed by Lorelei, who looked at the twins with a confused glance.
“Why can’t you get through?” she asked.
Adella thought for a moment than frowned. "Our bodies are pretty much pure magic with a layer of skin, I guess that's why."
Maple easily walked through due to having no magic whatsoever.
"Can you put a barrier around your bodies? To keep all your magic within it?" Amaris asked
"It would probably just get sucked out by the library." Adella muttered. "We could do some looking around in the neighboring towns, maybe get some stuff?" Adyn added onto his twin.
'that sound like a good idea.' Cato spelled. He looked at the library and gestured with his head. 'shall we?'
Maple nodded with a smile, “Yeah! Let’s go!”
Indigo nodded, "Yeah. Let's go!"
Indigo started walking and Lilac stumbled along behind her until she caught up.
Lorelei and Quentin followed the others, Quentin looking a bit annoyed still.
Cato looked at the building in front of them and watched the lingering librarians with a wary eye.
Amaris waved to Quentin with a slight smirk.
Lilac didn't have her seeing stick on her and Indigo could conjure one up at this point. She almost debated asking Indigo to lead her out of this inky darkness, but she kept quiet and took smaller steps feeling around with her foot for any cracks or steps. Indigo looked at the others, "Well? What are you guys waiting for?"
Quentin responded with by flipping her off with a smirk of his own. Lorelei rolled her eyes at the two of them.

Amaris frowned and still waved, trying to irk him until Cato growled, pulled her by her arm to the other side where she couldn't see Quentin.
Quentin snickered at that.
“Can you two lovebirds not go ten seconds without making faces at each other?” Lorelei asked sarcastically.
Amaris made a face "I do not like him, he sickens me!" She stated, turning her face the other way
“Yeah and I hate her!” Quentin added angrily, pouting like he was eight instead of eighteen. Lorelei rolled her eyes again.
“Whatever…”

Amaris ran a hand through her short hair as she ignored Quentin and looked at the doors in front of them "how do you propose we go inside?"
Indigo walked up to them dragging Lilac carefully in tow, "We could just walk in?"
"Wont we get booted back? I though others were spells put in place?" Amaris asked
(aha true)
Maple lightly laughed at Amaris and Quentin when Lorelei had tried to make them stop fighting. She listened to what Indigo and Amaris were saying, “I have a good way to find out! We can throw something at it and I have plenty of things! She pulled off her bag and looked through, finally pulling a small jar of chocolate candy rocks out. She opened it and took a handful out, “Let’s use these!”
Amaris nodded at Maple and gestured towards the door in a go ahead motion before taking a step back incase something happened.
Maple stepped forward and threw the handful, they hit the middle of the doorway and got flung back with two times the force they had been thrown. Maple dodged some incoming chocolate, “Well…”
“What if we threw Amaris at it?” Quentin asked, studying the door. Lorelei smacked him lightly. “What? It was a serious question!” Quentin protested as Lorelei just rolled her eyes.

Amaris looked at him with a annoyed look and flipped him off before touching the barrier. "Although Quentin was being rude, I think if we keep our purpose in mind, we will be able to simply walk through." She said
Indigo gave a shrug, "It's worth a shot. Do you care to go first princess?"
