dartfrog walked around aimlessly looking for the prey center, since his map was somehow already lost. but accidentally walked right into the big seawing hybrid, "oof, sorry. do you kno- whoooah! you're a hybrid right? what tribes? do you have super awesome combination powers or something? where did you live?" he said to taha eagerly. he had only ever seen a hybrid once in the street, and had quite a few questions. they were trying their hardest not to turn bright yellow again, he wanted to make a good impression, but feared he might have already failed.

(Pronouns: she/her)
(Personality: Aurora is a very calm, even-tempered dragon. She has a resting emotionless face, but in reality she is very friendly. She is a great listener, and will give advice if needed. When she befriends someone, she grows attached to them quickly. Her voice is soft and gentle, a stark contrast to Topaz.)
(Description: Aurora has whitish-purple scales with splotches that are blue, white, pink, and a more saturated purple. (think of a galaxy, but more pastel-esque colors.) Her wings are blue with a white gradient that looks almost like snow falling. Her eyes are a soft blue, and her talons and underbelly are white. (This isn’t a great description of her, I’ll probably use a picrew as a reference instead 🫠))
(Backstory: Aurora’s parents sent her to the academy to meet dragons from other tribes, and she was eager to do so. (WIP))
(Other: Aurora isn’t very prejudiced against any tribes, and she is extremely friendly towards humans. She is definitely not your typical IceWing)

Taharuu felt like a clump of mud, just standing there. She had been so wrapped up in her thoughts that she hadn't noticed the RainWing in front of her. She stood there with her mouth open, ready to apologize, but nothing came out. Her eyes were locked on the wiry dragonet, odd splashes of yellow growing on their scales before fading back to blue.
"SightWing?" She finally answered.

they thought hard for a minute before answering, "nightwing… seawing?" she didn't know how to feel about that, dartfrog had always tried their hardest to keep an open mind, but she couldn't say she was fond of nightwings, or seawings for that matter. "It's a pleasure to meet you, im dartfrog! you are?" they didn't know how to really go further with the conversation, but this was probably her first chance to make friends, and she didn't want to mess it up.

Honestly, it would be less awkward if Taha pulled a pineapple out of her ear. This was already the longest conversation she'd had in… how long? She fought the urge to duck into a shadow and spoke without thinking again.

The inky purple dragon was staring at her webbed talons. She looked almost like a statue, aside from the very tip of her tail, which twitched anxiously. Who knew a dragon that big could stand so still?

Aurora was just about to enter when she noticed an inky purple dragon standing just outside the mountain. She could see that this dragon looked nervous. The opalescent IceWing walked up to Hatchet and spoke to her. “Hello, there. Are you alright?” She asked gently.

The SeaWing gave a squeak of fear and surprise, and froze even more, as if she would become invisible, and Aurora would leave her alone. But when that didn't work, she just looked at her and slowly nodded, giving an awkward smile. How would she get out of this???

Aurora seemed genuinely concerned for this dragon. “You look a little nervous. Do you need help with anything?” She asked softly. She added hastily, “If not, that’s okay. I don’t want to overstep my boundaries.” She gave Hatchet a small smile.

After a good few seconds, she opened her mouth to speak, but before she could say anything another IceWing barreled past Aurora, tackling the wide-eyed SeaWing, which didn't budge her whatsoever. The IceWing made some talon motions, staring up gleefully at her, to which she nodded.
