Tempest huffed and looked out the small window of the back room. There was an anthro dragon woman being pushed around by some other escaped inmates and soon it was getting more serious. She was large but wasn't fighting the men back. Tempest couldn't stand it so he crawled through the window and approached the group "Hey! Leave her alone!"
It would be a little harder for DK to climb out sense he was taller and more built than the canine
Dk doesn't notice tempest went out the window as he hide behind some barrels
Tempest slid the wires back down from his sleeve as they turned their attention to him. Before he could talk any reason into them one took a swing at Tempest that he ducked and drove his knee into their gut, knocking the wind out of them. He took down another but was struck by a lead pipe on the back of the head, dropping to the ground like a sack of flour. The Dragon girl took the pipe from his hand and bashed him across the face with it. SHe then knelt down and picked the injured canine up
The shop owner came running over and helped the dragon girl to his shop and set tempest down in the back room in front of the barrels
After hearing that some of the prisoners escaped, Oliver immediately set off the alarm. “Shit!,” he yelled, trying to organize a party to go get them. He definitely was going to get in trouble if the word got out.
"I'm fine I'm fine let's just lay low for a while" Tempest told them, but the steady flow of crimson from a head gash said otherwise
Dk walks slowly out from the barrels a little scared
"Hey…you're…you guys were inmates. Oh my god I'm so sorry you guys had to go through that stuff." The dragon girl reached over and patted Death gently before asking "Could you help me patch up this brave idiot's busted head?"
Dk reaches in his pocket and hands her a healing crystal he stumbled on behind the barrels
Soon enough Tempest's head wound had been treated and his wrapped in spare cloth. "Dk…we're alright now." Tempest knelt by his side "You did it, you escaped…but it isn't over yet…we still have to be careful but you're not in this alone…my friend."
Dk nods his head and as he looks at tempest and he looks at the store owner and the Dragon lady
"Hey I'm Rose and I'm just one of you guys that broke out of the all female Prison…I want to help you guys…this is my cousin Darren." she motioned to the store owner
"Oh, nice to meet you" Dk says as he looks at tempest and Dk climbs up on the barrels to look out the window
Rose had her eyes on Tempest as well and thanked him for his help, giving him a toothy smile
"It's no problem. It was the right thing to do. See anything out there Dk?" Tempest responded
Dk looks at tempest and he shakes his head then he looks back at the window
"How long have you guys been out?" Rose asked the two
"Just today" Dk says as he keeps looking out the window
"Are you two hungry? We got some things we could spare the two of you. Mostly canned but the way you two shake it doesn't seem you've had proper meals in a long time." Rose questioned with her offer
Dk keeps looking out the Window not saying anything to her
"Yes please we would love that." Tempest told Rose and went to help her get the various canned goods out for the three of them to eat and maybe form some sort of plan
Dk looks at tempest and rose walk away and he jumps down from the window and he starts pilling up the bit of hay/stray on the ground
