Ferran wandered down the hall to the cafeteria. He waved at Lee, trying to catch her eye.
Lillian was sitting in the cafeteria with the other theater kids. And a few art kids. You know her squad, oh whatever. She was reading through different scripts trying to memorize as many lines before her auditions.
Lee spotted Ferran. "Hey punk! What're you up to?" She grinned, walking over to him.
"Nothing much. Coach just told me no practice this week so I'm free to hang whenever."
"Rad. Same with football. Should we marathon Sci-Fi movies with some of the others?"
"Sure." Ferran shrugged. "Should we invite Darren?"
"Yeah. Sure." She grinned. "I finally got ma's permission to watch Alien and Aliens if you want to watch those."
Ferran shifted his bag a bit. "Uh…I don't know…."
Lee shrugged. "We can do Star Wars or something else if you want."
"Sure…." Ferran was distracted by the sound of laughter from the art kids' corner. "Do…do you think we should invite some of them?"
Lee chuckled. "Sure. Why not freak 'em out with the aliens?" She stopped chuckling. "Oh wait. Are you serious?"
"Yeah." Ferran nodded slowly. "They seem like a decent group."
(just wondering, how can I jump in?)
Rowena sat under a tree, writing in an old journal. She was humming to herself, pen going slowly across the page.
Lee shrugged. "I guess. As long as I don't get dragged into a convo about an obscure artist for hours. Should we invite Faith?"
Lillian looked up at the laughing kids. She smiled goofily and put her scripts away. She could work on memorization later, friends came first.
(You can talk to Londy, Scryche.)
