Alaria began to call for an ambulance, but the number just wouldn't dial.
"Is anyone else having comms issues?"
Jay already had the hospital's emergency line dialed, and was priority. "I've got it," He told her. He was very quick to call after some of his experiences. He gave the directions to them, holding the phone against his ear, and keeping a hand on Patagonia's back, shushing her while she panicked. He wasn't doing much better himself at keeping it in.

Patagonia gasped and stood shakily. "We don't have time for this, Y'all go do the Stephen thing while I get.. this fixed."
Alaria nodded, thankful and ready to move elsewhere. As much as it hurt her to see Patagonia as she was, she was thankful it wasn't her dealing with… whatever it was. She turned and signaled to Lucia, "I want you with me, firestarter," then, to Jay, "I'm not going to make you come, if you wanna stay with Pat, but I would like a good shot backing me up." She grabbed her brief case and took out her snub rifle and a couple of hand guns. The rifle, she kept. The handguns went to Lucia and Jay.
"..Aspen." He froze for a moment. He wanted to stay with Patagonia but he needed to do this for his other friends, the ones he'd lost. "Take the phone. Take care you two." He cast an apologetic look to them before gripping the gun in his right hand, placing it condition one in his pocket opposite his Firestar plus, following the commander's lead.

Aspen opened his mouth to protest, but once the others had left, he had no choice but to stay. "Well, looks like it's you and me, Patagonia." He sighed softly and helped her into his Land Rover. It would be easier to clean and more comfortable for her. "The doctors will be here any minute now…"

Patagonia soon found herself in a tormented sleep, overwhelmed by the pain to the point of blacking out. She imagined the horrible nights spent locked in a room with Stephen and Columbia, each taking turns at her like she was some sort of toy. It made her want to vomit. Again.

Jay was about to get in whatever large armored vehicle the commander had when he came to his senses a moment. He needed his phone in case one of the guys needed to get a hold of him. He paced to run back in but stopped when he saw the two of them sitting in the rover, changing his route and moving to them. "They on their way?" He called, "I'm so dumb"
"Hu-what?" Aspen turned suddenly at Jay's voice but his face soon fell once he laid his eyes on him. "Yeah. You can go now."
Jay stopped, confused, furrowing his brow. "I needed to get.. my phone." he slowed to a walk towards the car. I mean I already feel bad for just leaving them here, why's he gotta give me a look like that?
Aspen nodded and turned away, blinking tears from his eyes.
Jay was at the Rover now. "What's going on, Aspen? Why are you acting like that..?" Jay was so severely confused.

"I'm not acting like anything. Here's your phone." Aspen refused to meet eye contact as the phone was transferred, pretending instead to look back at Patagonia.
"Let's go Jay! Time's wastin'!" Alaria called, throwing her weapon into the back of the hummer that had pulled up, Squad Leader Kim at the wheel.
