"You sure? You seem edgy." Elias paused. "Wait you're always edgy."

Lukie sternly glared at the other. “Let’s just get this over with…”

(I want them to laugh at his smolness and Elias be like, hey that’s my man and get all upset)

"We're taking the car by the way."

Lukie glanced warily at the car. “Alright.”

Elias slid into the driver's seat and put the keys in the ignition. "Coming?"

Lukie glanced down at the passenger’s. “Um… no? I’m too short to… sit here.” He pointed, turning a faint red.

"You're like, 5 feet tall? I think you're good."

“No… I’m shorter than five feet. I’m four foot two.” Lukie turned a brighter shade of red.

"Really?" Elias bit back laughter. "Okay."

Lukie glared hotly at Elias. “I’ll sit in the back.” He slammed the door shut and hopped into the back seat.

"Okay….baby." Elias started backing out of the driveway, snickering.

Lukie flicked his hand and Elias’ head went flying forward into the wheel, where the horn then MEEPED loudly.

"Dude! Don't do that!" Elias grimaced. "You could get us both killed!"

“Don’t insult me, then!” Lukie exclaimed with a snarl in his voice.

"Dating you is harder than it needs to be." He huffed.

Lukie grumbled something under his breath and crossed his little arms.

They pulled up to the ice cream parlor. Elias shut the car off and hopped out. "Get ready to meet my grampa!"

Lukie pushed the door open, still grumbling grumpily. “Yeah… I’ll meet him all right…” Was audible.
