Orion wakes up slowly, absentmindedly brushing a hand over his ears. Freezing, the blue-eyed man repeats the gesture. Standing up, he looks around, eyes lingering on a man standing close to him.

Splitting up? Floyd guessed that was okay. Better to figure out more things quicker. He glanced around, as everyone seems to be choosing who to go with. A short, pretty adorable seeming boy caught his attention. He stepped over, tappping the boy’s shoulder with a big smile. “Got a partner yet? You looked like a lost puppy or something,” he said, a joking edge to his tone.
Noah looked up at the person who had spoken to him. He was much taller than him. And really cute. Noah shook his head before averting his gaze from the guy. He was at a loss of words (more than he usually was) and didn’t want to seem creepy.

The boy seemed very shy. And that was okay, Floyd liked shy people. He held out his hand, his smile more friendly and inviting now. “I’m Floyd. You are?” He asked, arching a brow.
Noah shook his hand. “Noah,” he said, smiling shyly.

“Nice to meet you, Noah. Got any idea of what’s going on here?” Floyd asked, letting go of Noah’s hand. He looked down at the shorter boy, taking a quick moment to glance over his facial features and body.
“You too,” Noah replied quietly. “And I, umm, have no idea.”

Floyd hummed, biting at his lower lip as he rocked back and forth on his heels. He had a lot of energy in him, so he was barely ever standing still. “Where should we start searching?”

Noah shrugged. “No idea,” he looked at their surroundings, at the strange hues of the sky, ocean and trees. “This place…” he muttered, not finishing his sentence.

“It’s strange,” Floyd added, foot tapping as his head tilted upwards to look at the sky. He was either dreaming, or he smoked too much.
“Very strange,” Noah murmured. He kept looking around. He only then noticed the other guy with ears and a tail. Weird. The waves of the ocean crashed into the sand, and the waves were not the colour they were supposed to be. The trees weren’t green like they were supposed to be, it was like they had been sucked into a painting.

“This is so cool, but trippy,” Floyd said slowly, looking over at Noah with a slight dopey looking grin.
Noah nodded in agreement, but didn’t look at Floyd. He kept watching the ocean.
