Background: Rei was abandoned as a child by his parents. Alone, and living on the streets, he was picked up by a man in his early 30’s. The man, Michael Kohar, adopted him and raised him like his own. Rei was different from most kids, he never liked going out to play ball, instead he was busy taking care of animals. He adored them and played with Michael’s cat, Mary. He stayed away from people, scared of being abandoned again. He started opening up after a boy, James started talking to him, and sticking around even when Rei said that he didn’t have to. In high school, he was bullied due to his sexuality. Something snapped and he wasn’t a sweetheart. While he maintained his loving nature, he trained. He became well built and strong. He didn’t take any crap from anyone.
Personality: He’s very grounded. He’s patient, kind and stable. He’s very devoted to his lover and will do absolutely everything in his power to make sure they feel loved and cherished, and to make sure they are safe. He doesn’t really like to compromise anything, due to the fact that he has a system, but if he needs to he can. He’s stubborn as a mule but he’ll relax. He’s very dedicated to his work, which is as a Veterinarian.

Rei was quiet as he entered his appartment. He was completely exhausted. He was so tired, he had been chasing down Crime Lords, druggies, etc. He pulls his cap off and removes his belt. Rei walked towards the kitchen, making some instant ramen. He groans as he runs a hand through his hair, humming under his breath as he changes into pj's and returns to the kitchen.

Calixto flops onto his bed exhausted from the day's work. Well, the day wasn't all too busy, but it sure felt like it. He felt his eyelids begin to fall, but then snapped back awake. He needed to change out of his uniform and wash it before the next day. He worked in a local coffee shop and at times it got really hectic, people cranky for the hot and caffeinated drink. Getting back up, he saunters towards the closet to change into something more comfortable.
Rei sighs as he walks to the couch, turning the tv on low as he leans back, running a hand through his thick milk chocolate brown hair. He hums softly to himself as he tries to relax. It had been a long day, and he was glad to have the opportunity to relax and have time to himself. He was tense and sore from working out before he returned home, and was ready to fall asleep. But he needed to clean up a bit and take care of his kitten, Feliciano.

Kicking back on the soft bed, he curled up under the blankets, satisfied with their comforting warmth. Before falling asleep, he turned to reset his alarm for another work day in the morning. He nearly groaned thinking about it. He had to wake up around 6 AM to work his usual shift and yet again cover for a friend. It kinda ticked him off that said friend didn't take things seriously. "Honestly, how is he not fired yet?" he wondered out loud. He closed his eyes, waiting for sleep to come. It would be a long day tomorrow after all.
Rei walks towards his room, exhaustion written all over his face. he curls up in bed, sighing happily as he wraps the blankets around himself. Feliciano curls up next to him and he gives a happy sound as his master gently pets him.Rei chuckles softly, running his hand down the white and brown cats fur. He slowly falls asleep.

He found himself standing in some sort of pastel colored dreamscape. The grass was a turquoise and the sky shades of pinks, purples and blues, clouds wispy and puffy. Calixto looked around. "Weird…" he mused to himself. Curious, he began to scan the area and explore it a bit. There was a cliff that overlooked a sort of ocean, waves comforting. Sitting near the edge, he dangled his legs over the cliff. The place was quite soothing. If only this weren't a dream.

It was beautiful, the pastel colors, the quietness of the area. He thought he was alone for the most part, but as he started walking around, he saw another sitting at the edge of a nearby cliff. Curiosity overthrew his sense as he walks towards the other sitting there. He stands next to the male, as he can see now, looking over at the waves, the breeze brushing his hair back.

Cal looked over and saw someone else walk over beside him. Usually dreams showed him compilations of things similar to what he'd experienced before. He was confused however. The person next to him was quite attractive and unfamiliar. "Who are you?" he asked, curiosity pulling at his mind.
