It had been a difficult day, to say the least. The city police had caught Mickey and Jazza and Char, along with a few others, in the middle of a deal. Guns fired, the blasts still echoed in her ears. And then-

Bang. It wasn't like a normal gun, not to Mickey. She had fired-

In the shoulder. She had hit her own fucking wife in the shoulder. With a bullet. The blood didn't look like normal blood, it had broken promises and damnation mixed in.

Soon after that, she got her team out of there while the cops were distracted with Cherry. She hoped that her wife hadn't noticed it was her, but they both knew betrayal in someone's eyes when you saw it. And worse, she had ran.

Getting home, she found her wife with one arm in a sling, resting.

"Hey, honey, how was work?" hopefully she wouldn't remember exactly who shot her.

Cherry took in a deep breath, her eyes angry and one of them twitching. "You fucking shot me! That was my day at work!" She screamed, glaring at her wife. She had gotten home about an hour before and had spent the entire time planning the long rant she was going to yell at her wife. Her face then shifted into a mocking, sickly sweet smile. "So how was your day?" She said mockingly.

"One of my best friends was murdered and the other is now an amputee thanks to you." she said simply, flicking on the television casually. Two could play at this game.

"Mhm, and you killed three people on my squad. And shot me." Cherry said with an eye roll, gesturing towards her arm in the sling before getting out her phone to scroll through it's apps.

“Hey, that’s-“ true. Mickey sat down on the couch next to Cherry and gave her a light kiss on the lips. “We okay? I’m sorry.”

Cherry pouted for a moment but relented. She couldn't stay mad at Mickey for long. "Fine." She huffed, putting away her phone.

"I knew you'd cave," she said, snuggling up against her partner. She leaned to grab the TV remote, then resumed snuggling, and turned on the television to a random, unimportant program.

"But! You're buying me ice-cream." Cherry continued, a shit-eating grin on her face. Like hell, if she wasn't going to take advantage of the situation at hand. "And cookies." She finished.

"No, we're going to stay in and cuddle." she said, tightening her grip around Cherry.

"But… Icecream… And cookies." She muttered, turning her puppy-dog eyes to Mikey.

"I'm broke! Sure, I'm a gang boss technically, but I don't actually keep most of the money. We use it for funding elsewhere." Mickey groaned.

"But ice cream, Mikey, ice cream." Cherry whimpered, her puppy dog eyes being maxed out. "Please?"

"You will never break me!" she said, tickling Cherry's sides and pinning her weight on top of the woman.
