Shard growled lowly, alerting Kaliyah that there was someone else here. She drew her bow and asked the secret question “moons above?” The answer should have been solar eclipse.

Phoenix rode into the clearing responding to the question, "Solar Eclipse. Jeez do you really think anyone else would be up at this time at night?"
“Yes, the night is filled with many spies and wanderers.” She said lowering her bow
Phoenix shrugged as she carefully dismounted her horse. Tying Cloud to a nearby tree, "I guess, but for them to come here?"
“This is no-mans-land.” She said, poking the fire with a stock
Phoenix hobbled over to the fire, "Noooooo."
Kaliyah just laughed “settle down comfortably, the others are gonna take a while to get here.”
Phoenix sighed as she let her legs collapse in on them selves so she was sitting on the ground, "I hope they get here soon. I have things to do in the morning."

Will had gone home for a little while, and he slept. After a few hours he had gotten up and jumped out the window and walked towards where he believed the clearing was.
Aalexi snuck downstairs and out of the house, pulling her hood over her head and walking into the forest.

Will walked into the clearing and saw the others, slowly he walked over to them.
Aalexi emerged from the trees after Will stayed a little ways away from the others.
“Hey Will, Aalexi,” Phoenix greeted both of them.
She smiled a bit and leaned up against a tree, waiting for the others.

"Hello…" Will responded and stepped forward a bit.
Phoenix looked at him funny. She shook her head quickly, he’s just a weird kid, “Make yourselves comfortable. It may be awhile before the others show.”

"Yeah, ok." he said and looked around the clearing.
Phoenix sighed, yeah no he was weird. She stared into the fire.

Will walked over towards the fire and sat down on the ground.

Phoenix slowly moved her arms towards the fire. She used her magic to make the simple flame into intricate creations. She had to entertain herself somehow.

Will watched as the flames moved and were distorted.
Phoenix focused for a second as she moved a small portion of the flames into her palm. She fashioned them into the shape of a horse, then let the small fire horse dance around the air in the clearing.

"Cool tricks." Will said to Phoenix as he saw he controlling some flames.
“Thanks,” Phoenix waved her hand and the fire returned to normal. The little horse disappeared into thin air.
"Who else are we waiting for?" Aalexi asked.
