Evelin's eyes widened. Oh, shit. She used her knife to chop off the edge of the branch she was sitting on, scurried down the trunk, and ran off quickly. "After her!" she heard someone yell.
Onyx ran after her suprisingly fast "hey who are you!"
Evelin didn't say anything, to save breath. She ran past the surprised guards and into the nearby village, ducking behind a vegetable stall. She sighed in relief as the guards passed… until a strong arm grabbed her shoulder. "Not so fast. How dare you cut the sacred tree?" A guard asked, Nox not far behind.
Onyx ran up to the guard and said "take her back to the palace, i will ask her some questions on the way" then to Evelin "you know thats my twins favorite tree right?"
"The tree would be much better used as a remedy for the ill than as a playhouse for a spoiled child," she said calmly.
"first off she is not spoiled secoond off im trying to find cures for the ill that dont come with a terms and condition that in the end will kill you"
"Really, why do you think that he's spoiled?" Alexander asked as he walked upto Evelin
Ophelia watched them run, confused. There were guards barring the exit, and she knew they wouldn't allow her to leave. She would just have to wait for Onyx to return.
"Calm down Onyx" Alexander interrupted him.
"sorry father" he said
"Really, why do you think that he's spoiled?" Alexander asked as he walked upto Evelin
"Well, I don't see the royal family living in straw huts and working the fields day by day,"
onyx was about to speak but closed his mouth knowing he would probably say something wrong

"No, you command your guards to protect the honorable citizens of the good kingdom," Evelin said. "There's a difference, you know."
"my older brother actully goes out and protects villages and such so please, do your ressearch before you try to vandalise something"
"He does what other villagers do, but with actual working weapons, secure armor, and the knowledge that he always has a large castle to return to," Evelin stated calmly. "And besides, I did not vandalize without a cause: there is a little girl in west Bakersfield (a village in the evil kingdom) who has fallen ill with a mysterious illness. And she's not the only one. I think that the weeping willow, which is an extremely rare tree outside of the Hapepifian palace, may have some sort of medicine in its bark that will help the people of Nasef," (How about Nasef is the bad kingdom, and Hapepif is the good kingdom?)
"oh then take all you need" he said with a sad smile on his face "please take care of them" he whispered to Evelin "il find a way to get you free, just helpthoose poor souls"
"Thank you," Evelin smiled gratefully. "It's rare to see anyone from any kingdom try and help their enemy," She passed him a small card, handwritten in a font that curled and looped like ivy climbing up a tree. "Burn this if you ever need help with an injury. The parchment is made up of a special plant that will emit green smoke when burned," she whispered.
"i hope i wont need it but yeah i dont like when people are hurt, no matter the kingdom"

"You know if that was the reason of your misbehaviour perhaps next time ask."
"I couldn't take any chances," Evelin said. "Remember your grandfather, Caligula? He nearly drove this place to ruin the last time my- I mean I was here. (Remember how Evelin's supposed to act like the healer family line is immortal?) For a while, this place was almost exactly like Nasef."
"Well he was a deranged mental case and that was because of the Nasef kingdom."
