Jarvis held her in his arms and crouched to the floor, cradling her body against his own "get out of here, you are no help nor are you willing to accept her decision."
"I will never accept her becoming one of you." He said, disapearing
Jarvis glanced down at Stephanie and brushed back her hair "my love,"
She smiled wiping some blood off her cheek.
He breathed a sighof relief and kissed her brow
"I'm still me" she said.
He tilted his head and smiled "yeah, if suddenly an angel went through a gothic punk phase in highschool." He teased and held her close
Stephanie gasped dramatically/
He laughed softly "think I'm wrong?" He asked with a smile, lightly stroking her hair
¨I didn´t say that¨ she said.
"no but you thought it." He winked and kissed her nose "can you stand or still a little dizzy?"
¨I think I Can Stand¨ she said.
He nodded and helped her stand, keeping a hand on her waist for stability.
¨Iḿ fine¨ she said.
He loosened his grip on her and let her stand by herself "think they'll come back?"
¨No I don think so¨ she said.
He nodded and crossed his arms over his chest "what was that?" he asked softly, glancing back at her
¨What do you mean¨ she said.
"the transformation. you weren't….you."
¨yeah that happens¨ she said.
"recently? or for a while now?"
¨A while¨ she said.
"how long?" He asked, not being able to look.her in the eye

His eyes widened slightly "before or after I met you?"
¨Before¨ she said.
He nodded "so being around me only enhanced that. How did it happen?"
