Nickala looked out her window at the pounding rain." It isn't going to light up is it. " she sighed. She loved the rain but needed to go and get things done and she just finished paying off her motercycle. She went downstaires and she looked out the window wall, listening to the rain ponding agaisnt it. She grabbed a coco cola and sat down at the couch. She thought of the pros and cons of wating till the rain lit up, "I wouldnt get soaked, but I would have less time to do things…" she mumbled to herself. Her apartment complex was loud but for some reason it was unusually quiet today.

Matthew woke up early with intentions of being productive but when he opened his curtains and only the dim light of the rainy day came through his window he decided to just lay back down in bed for awhile.

Charlie walked towards Nickala's apartment door, brushing strands of wet, white blond hair out of her face. She fixed her sweater, hoping that the raindrops on it would fade away. She knocked on the door's frame softly, fidgeting with the ring on her left index finger.

Nickala wondered over to th door and opened it slightly before opening it all the way, "Hey Charlie" she commanded, gazing out at the rain behind her.

"Hey," Charlie answered, playing with the hem of her faded blue sweater. She had barely fixed her hair since she had been cooped up all day. "How are you?"

"I'm depressed" she replied, "Wanna come in?"
