Set in a world where same-sex couples are outlawed in every country and if you ever are found to be anything but heterosexual, you are sent to a facility where they try to alter you. In the process they do not change people’s sexualities but give them abilities instead.
Our characters meet when they are both sent to this facility. They end up being placed in the same cell and eventually they forget our what this place actually is and try to escape before they are “altered”
