Charlotte looked over at her renaissance dress and sighed, "I miss him, no one is here for good ol' fashioned lovin' anymore. I've searched far and wide and no one has returned my love."

Viv was unsure how to respond to that. “You’ve got a long life ahead of you, I’m sure you’ll find someone.”

Charlotte laughed but there was only hurt behind it, " I wish I could just finally die ya know? A life watching all the people you love die and suffer heartbreak after heartbreak, it's not worth living for. " Charlotte proposed

" But who cares about me!" she eclaimed, jumping up but her eyes still staying the same sorrow blue they were a few minutes ago, "Why don't we go grab some coffee or something?"

Viv paused. “ guess. I— I like life. I don’t want to die.”

Charlotte slipped out of the dress and into sweatpants a black shirt and a skeleton hoodie, "I suppose so, but I'd want to live if I had another purpose in life. Like a big job or someone who needed me, or even better someone who I needed…" Charlotte replied, her eyes slipping in and out of different colours.

"What about exploration? That could be your purpose."

" Interesting… solitude or with people?"

"Maybe a firewatch, where I could hike in solitude and be walkie-talkie buddies with someone and we'd fall inlove, or maybe something with people and we find treasures and discover a tomb worth millions…"

Viv gave her a half-smile. "Yeah. Maybe the oceans."

Charlotte laughed, "yeah, maybe near the water. some place I could feast silently and live in peace, in the mountains. "

"That'd be a nice way to live….."

"would you come with me?" Charlotte replied, "we wouldn't be judged or found out. I've always wanted a nice adventure"

"I would love that."

"Great! cuz I found 2 fire watch jobs online earlier this morning. I didn't think much of it…" She smiled and opened up her laptop, showing Vivienne the job offers. " There's lakes everywhere there, and plently wildlife…" her eyes turned a bright shade of purple.

(search it up. It's a video game with beautiful setting in the mountains, there are watch towers and you live there. You should definetly watch markiplier play it. It's a really beautiful game. )

Viv peeked over her shoulder. “What’s this?”

" A place in the mountains, it's a pretty simple job. You report fires when you see them, and you can hike and interact with the wildlife. You stay there the whole spring and summer. "Charlotte replied excitedly

“Count me in.” Vivienne grinned. “I should probably pack a bag though. This is going to be fun!”

"Good! It starts this week Saturday, so we have 5 days to get ready" Charlotte grinned back. "Maybe we should go out to buy supplies like a water filter. They have taps there. We'd be in seprete Watch towers, but we'd be able to see eachothers watch towers from inside of them." Charlotte smiled, filling in the sign up forms.

"Most definetly" Charlotte said, grabbing her purse, "There'll be beds there but if you don't have a double sheet set then we could pick some up there" she exclaimed, pulling open the door and the smell of rain enveloping her entry way.
