"Thank you! i used to hate it when i was little." she was slightly embarassed she had said that. She'd never told anyone that before.
Dall noticed Kendra's slight embarrassment. "When I was younger I wanted my name to be Princess." She laughed. "I was a very determined 6 year old. I convinced everyone but my parents to call me that."
She laughed. "i was too i guess. i was determined to get a puppy. and i got it too."
Dall gasped and pretended to pout. "Lucky! My moms wouldn't even allow me to get a goldfish." she laughed, which she was starting to realise, she laughed a bit too often. "What's your dog's name?" she asked.
"Her name was Luna. We uh had to umm yea. dont wanna kill the mood if you know what i mean." he said, looking down. "But i got another dog, his name is James. I like Harry potter character names if you cant tell"
"Man! I'm sorry about Luna. That's so sad!" she looked down at the floor, thinking for a bit. "I've never read Harry Potter, but I took the Pottermore test. I'm in Gryffindor."
"Hufflepuff" she said. "Well you should read them for sure. some of my favorites.

"Maybe I should." Dall twirled her hair with her finger, trying to think of a way to keep the conversation going. Fuck it. "Hey, are you free later today? Maybe we could go get coffee, together?" She cringed on the inside. She's probably straight, that gets you no where.
Kendra smiled, “Sure I’d love too!”
dont get your hopes up don’t get your hopes up she’s probably straight or not into you like that. Don’t do it. It’s fine. Pretty girls like her are always straight she thought on the inside, keeping the all to genuine smile plastered on her face.
Dall beamed. "Alright, what time sounds good? I'm free at.." she checked her watch. "Three thirty?"

“Oh yes let me check my schedule” she picked up a random book and flipped a couple pages before looking up with a stupid grin on her face. “Yup I should be free then. Where did you want to meet?” She asked.
Dall blushed and had to keep herself from laughing. That was so goshdamn cute! She thought for a bit. "I heard there was a new cafe up on center street. I think it was called.. Daylight Cafe? Anyway, I've heard great things about it."
“Okay. Three thirty then?” Kendra asked putting the book back on the shelf.
