Jesse waited for Gabbie in the lobby. He fumbled with his coat zipper. He could never get these things….

Gabbie quickly raced down the staires. She wore black leggings and a red blouse with a dainty gold necklace, "I'm here!" she shouted

Jesse nodded without looking up. "Hi….can I have some assistance?"

Gabbie giggled and stepped infront of him, taking the zipper carefully and all in one motion zipping it up, "There" she said, stepping back

"Oh thank you…" He looked up. "Wow…"

Gabbie looked at him in the eyes, "What is it?"

"You just look lovely that's all."

"Aw, Thank you. You look dashing as well" she replied, taking a hold of his hand. "Shall we go?"

"Yes we shall." He pushed open the door.

They walked out, letting the warm air coarse them along their path, "It's beautiful here in the night"

"I agree…." He looked at her. "You know what's more beautiful?"

"What" she said, looking back at him with a unintentionally sly grin

"That bird." He pointed to a particularly stupid looking pigeon.

"Yes!" she said laughing. She looked up at him again, a sparkle in her eyes

"I mean look at it!" He laughed. "It is the stupidest bird I have ever seen!"

"Oh my gosh he just walked in a wall!" she giggled, her knees crumpling from how much her laughter was shaking her

Jesse chuckled. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." she said, regaining her balance

"Okay then." He offered her his hand.

Gabbie took his open hand and stepped closer to him by accident, "Oh, sorry!" she said, relizing she had almost just stepped on his foot

"No it's fine. Let's continue shall we?"
