"right" she said and began walking back to the farm.

Alex followed her quickly, his fingers twining with hers.

Gwen smiled at him as they approached the farm.

Alex grinned mischievously, heading in the direction of the barn.

she raised an eyebrow but followed him.

Alex slipped inside, "My sister would actually kill me if she found out I'd snuck off." he told Gwen.
"Oh really?" Blaze said glaring at Alex as he whipped around.

"Sh*t" Gwen said
Grady stood beside B;aze arms crossed.

Alex took an involuntary step back, "Blaze… I can explain…"
Blaze glared at him. "Where were you? Why did you leave without telling us? And what were you doing with her?"

Gwen started to let go of his hand "
"woah blaze you said that like you were disgusted that he was with her" grady said.

"No, I'm disgusted that my baby brother would run off on a date without consulting me first!" said Blaze.
Alex tensed, "We're the same age Blaze! And I can take care of myself!"

Gwen slowly back ed away from the two.

"Cool it Gwen," said Blaze, "I'm just a little hurt that he took you out without any of the niceties of a first date."
"That's what you're worried about?!" asked Alex.

Gwen raised an eyebrow "seriously."

"Yes!" said Blaze, "After all my runt brother grew up a rogue in the woods!"
"Blaze!" Alex protested.

Gwen rolled her eyes "Im going back outside" Gwen said and stepped back outside.

Alex glared at Blaze, before starting off to follow her.

Gwen went outside and sat on the concrete.

Alex sat down next to her, "I'm sorry about that…" he said quietly.

"it's not your fault".

"Yeah… but still…"

she kissed his cheek "dont worry".

Alex blushed lightly, "Yeah…"

she leaned her head on his shoulder.

Alex slipped his arm around her, contentedly looking up at the stars.

"I'm gonna miss you" she said.

"Me too…" said Alex.

"I promise I won't forget you" she said.

"Me niether.." said Alex wistfully.
