"im Wendy, nice to meet you, Radish!" Wendy said cheerfully.
literate roleplay
"You too Wendy" Radish hesitated before continuing "do you not like singing around others?"
"not when I know i can be heard, which is why i play piano, to drown my voice out with the music." Wendy replied sheepishly, playing with her hair.
"Well that's a shame, your voice is beautiful!" Laura popped up from behind the piano. She was hiding from some of the more annoying guys in the class who always liked to pick on her. "Could you play again? If that's okay with you, of course."
"Yes!" Radish didn't bother trying those his enthusiasm
In walked Andre, who was an office PA, holding slips in his hand to give to the music teacher. He turned around and saw the two people from earlier, along with a girl who had dyed hair, talking at the piano. He sighed quietly and walked back out.
The music teacher skimmed through the slips, then called on Radish, Wendy, and Luna. She said…. (someone fill it in)
(My character's like 13, I gotta work him in somehow)
Wendy turned her head, then turned back to Raddish. She slowly walked towards the teacher, "yes?"
Radish followed her hesitantly
(I think I just put a bunch of pressure on myself for bringing up the slips, this could change the story significantly. Oh well, here goes)
Luna followed Radish and Wendy. The three friends went up to the teacher, only to be told to go to the front office. Something felt off; what a strange coincidence that it was these three who were called up! Radish, Luna, and Wendy walked on their way to the front office. Ahead of them was Andre, also walking to the office.
(I feel like a tyrant)
(Ooh im interested)
"I wonder what's going on" Radish was visibly nervous
"I-I hope nothing bad." Laura said nervously. Then in an undertone, "I can't afford to get in trouble again."
Radish turned toward Andre "do you have any idea what's going on?"
Wendy looked around nervously before whisper screaming at Radish, "none of us do!"
Suddenly, a teacher came in the door holding a small girl by the ear, causing irritation, by the look of her face. The girl didn't look like she was in pain at all, only slightly pissed of, like this had happened to her many times before. She must have rolled her eyes for about the millionth time today when the teacher dragged her into her office (I'm guessing that the offices are joined? Idk sorry that's just how I imagined it) and started yelling so loud that the other kids in the other room could hear him.
The students looked at her in curiosity, then turned back to each other. Andre turned to Radish and walked backwards.
"Sorry I.. I don't know much about that," Andre replied to Radish as they walked. "What I do know is that it's something pretty urgent, and you'll be talking to the prinicple, so I imagine it might be even more serious. I dont know, my guess."
Wendy leaned over to Radish, "what is going on help-"
Laura took a deep breath. She hated loud noises. She walked backwards as well, being the last one out of the room and closing the door behind the group. "So, what now?"
"we can go back to the music room. I can play or sing you something since you seem to like my voice a lot." Wendy mumbled, her head sinking into her shoulders.
"Um, would you be willing to do that? We don't want to pressure you." Laura glanced back at the boys and then to Wendy, a frown creasing her lips.
"totally!" Wendy beamed nervously, her flats pressing against the cold tiles as she started walking back to the music room.
Laura bit her lip and slowed down, planting herself between the two boys. "Do you guys think she really means it? Oh, I'm Laura by the way."
Wendy arrived in the music room, plopping down at the piano and playing a simple tune, waiting for the others.
Radish sat at the same spot he was at before intrigued by Wendy`s sudden confidence.
(burp I thought.. wait a minute.. weren't we just..? nvm, I'm out)
Eryon walked past the music room, then heard the beautiful music flowing from it and backed up, entering the room. "Wow." She remarked, looking like an idiot
Wendy looked behind her shoulder for a second, seeing a girl, clearly enamored by her voice looking at her. She smiled at the girl and turned back to the piano to focus on the keys she was pressing her fingers onto.
