Looking for someone who’s pretty active

Cass watches Ray walk away before standkng, "Don't worry." He says to the guards, "I can take myself to the dungeons, thanks." He starts walking away.

Ray sighs, not sure what else he could do for the time being. He start to head to his corridors and shuts the door.
After a few hours the King goes to the dungeon to see Cass. He walks up to him, "So have you thought about what you have done?" He says coldly.

"I've only thought about how to keep the kingdom which you seem so adamant to tear apart together." Cass replies.

The King scoffs, "Do you know how hard it is to rule a kingdom by yourself? No you don't because your still just a Prince!" He says angrily. "How do you plan to keep this kingdom from falling apart? What do you have planned?" He said coldly.

"You know, not being so quick to anger and not going to war every time you're insulted! We only have so many people left, most of them are moving to other kingdoms, and the few that are left, none want to join the Military because they know they will die if they do so!"

The King glares at Cass, "Well if you know what to do why don't you do it, without any help?" He says in a gruff voice. "I'll make you a deal, if you can get 500 people into the kingdom within 3 months, then I'll let you rule? How does that sound? The only person who can help you is Ray…" He says eyeing Cass.

Cass' jaw dropped, "Father- How am I supposed to get that many people here when you seem content to play war monger?!"

The King grins, "Well, do you want to save this kingdom from falling apart or no?" He says looking at Cass.

"Of course." He mutters.

"Well then, get to it!" He said in a cold tone.

Cass glared at his father and then stood up, walking past him.

(Sorry I just woke up)
The King chuckles evilly as Cass walks past him, "I hope you succeed…" He said half sarcastically, the other half you couldn't tell if it was genuine hope, kindness, or concern.

Cass huffs and then turns, “You’ve been different since Mama died, you know.” He then walks away, rubbing his forehead.

The King flinched at Cass's words, but said nothing as Cass walked out.
Ray was still in the garden thinking to himself, as he hummed a lullaby to himself, lost in his own world.

Cass walks to the garden, sitting next to Ray, “Father gave me a task.”

Ray get startled by Cass's sudden appearance, but the relaxes after a few moments. "What did your father assign you to do? Is it going to be good for the people?" He asked looking at Cass.

“I have no clue, but he wants me to bring 500 people into the kingdom in 3 months.” He sighs heavily, looking at Ray.

Ray smiles, "Well what are we sitting around here for? Let's get started, there is no time to waste!" He says getting up, holding a hand out to Cass to help him up.

cass takes his hand, quiet, “He said I only have you to help me. That’s it. No one else, but I have a few ideas.”

Ray nod helping Cass up, "Well he said you only have me, but he never said I couldn't get help… I can get other to help me then I can give what you need without you getting into trouble." He said as he had ideas of what to do also. "What are your ideas to help the kingdom, Prince?" He asked looking at Cass.

Cass sighs, “First, food. The people need better access to food, and lower taxes.”

Ray nods, "Well let's get to it then. Lead the way, Prince." He says giving a small bow, standing straight after a moment, waiting for Cass to lead the way.

Cass sighs softly, walking away, rubbing his face.

Ray walks beside Cass, "What is with you and rubbing your face, Prince?" He ask, looking at Cass as they walked.

Cass blinks, “What?” He looks at him, “I- I don’t know. . . I do it when I’m stressed I suppose.”

Ray looks at Cass, "What are you stressed about? We will beat your Father at his games, don't worry…" He says smiling at Cass.

“I am still worried he has a plan. . .”

Ray shakes his head, "Don't worry about that now, worry about the now not the future. Everything will fall into place as it comes, Prince." He says giving Cass a reassuring smile.

Cass sighs, and pauses, turning to Ray, “Call me Cass, Ray.”

Ray looks shocked for a moment before he speaks, "Yes Prin- Cass." He corrects himself before he finishes. Giving Cass a small nod.
