Aster nodded, unsure of how to continue the conversation, he looked around, taking in his surroundings yet again.
"So…now what?"
"Well if we were going by sitcom rules, we probably would have kissed ages ago," Sam said, fiddling with his tie absently

A small smile made it's way to his face, ruffling his own hair as he straightened out his sweater.
"Hopefully we don't end up like Rachel and Ross, and lean more towards Monica and Chandler.." He giggled.
Sam grinned. "I would hope so."

Aster gave Sam a smile, his eyes closed as he stuck his tongue out once again.

Sam felt the sudden impulse to hug Aster. Or kiss him. Or both. But he managed to keep himself from doing something stupid, resolving to fiddle absently with his tie. "So where are you from? I don't think that question's been asked yet."

"Oh, I'm from Texas! Well, I am actually from Portugal, I moved to the U.S. when I was like..two?" He said, furrowing his eyebrows as he thought, lightly biting onto his bottom lip.
Sam made a face that looked like he was trying not to die of exposure to adorableness. "Really? I've heard of Portugal. It sounds like a lovely place."

"It's beautiful!" Aster suddenly yelled, his green eyes widening as he shrunk down a bit.
"I've been back there..like..once, when I was four, and I had a blast! Oh My God! I should take you some time!!" He squealed, bunching the opening of his sleeves up in the palm of his hand, scrunching up his nose.
Sam grinned, squishing his own face with the palm of the hand he was resting his head in. "That sounds like a lovely idea. God knows I certainly could afford taking the two of us."

Aster jumped up and down happily.
"My Brother's are taking me! I'll just ask them if you can go!" He squealed, plopping down next to Sam.
Sam grinned, putting an arm around Aster. "That sounds lovely," he said, giving him a sort of one-armed hug

Aster shrunk himself down a bit into Sam's side, his face bright red as he played with the ends of his sweater, attempting to see his face. He allowed his green eyes look up at Sam, biting his lip.
"N-no I don't think you did…" He said, it coming out as a bit of a whisper in his currently flustered state.
Sam hugged him closer, grinning widely. "Well, you are the most adorable creature to grace this earth with your presence," he said, leaning down to kiss Aster's nose
