"What?" She looks over at him.

"Oh well… I just thought… that maybe.." My head stays facing the ground.
"Maybe what? Are your shoes that interesting?"

"N-no I just thought that maybe you're… like.. me.."
"Like you? You're going to have be a little bit more articulate here, love."

"I just mean that maybe you.. don't like it cuz.. you dont have a.."
"A what." She blinked at him. "Honestly, do you even know English?"

"You know a-a s.." I pause trying not to choke on my words, "a soulmate.."
"A soulmate?" She laughed. "I don't know. Even if I find mine, I don't know if I want it."

"Oh.." I look back up, "Anyways, where do you want to spend lunch?"
"What's up with you?" A grin spread across her face. "Wait. Do you think we're soulmates?"

"N-no I just mean that I think you should appreciate your soulmate cuz so many people have lost theirs.."
"Okay. Sure." Orion pulled on her hair. "I'm not exactly hungry, but I'll sit with you if you wanna eat."
