Kimiko finished up her makeup, carefully rubbing some pearl powder under her eyes to hide the dark bags underneath. She could faintly hear the noise of the ladies talking outside. Ah. So they must all be up as well. She slipped out quietly, grabbing the bottle of pearl powder. When she saw Victoire, surrounded by the rest of the ladies, she walked past quickly, not wanting to be dragged into the conversation. As she brushed past Victoire, she made no sound, did not meet anyone's eyes- but quickly slipped the bottle of pearl powder into Victoire's hand and hurried away. You're growing soft, Kasai.

Victoire closed her fingers around the bottle, letting her eyes trail after Kimiko. After a pause, she rose to her feet, grimacing as fiery pain shot up her legs. “Right.” She spoke with an air of authority. “Let’s get the morning started. Winifred offered to make breakfast, someone can make the table. We have barely anything left to eat, I will go and buy whatever we require. Who would like to come with?”

Winifred gave a curt nod to Kimiko as she floated in, silent as the air. She turned her attention back to Victoire. "I'll wait til you return then?" She gave a tilt of her head. "Or I can start with whatever we have here."

"Winifred, if you do not need any more help, then I'll set the table," Kimiko said quietly. It was not was a request. She pulled out the silverware from the drawers and the thin porcelain plates from the cabinets, setting them down as quickly as possible without breaking them.

Victoire nodded first to Aubrey, a silent acknowledgement, then turned to Winifred. “Start with what we have, but there isn’t much to work with. What do you want me to bring back?”
