I looked around and was surprised by how well the school was built and I've seen small elf children.

April followed Rowan and Jade. She had no clue where she was going, but since they were in the lead, she presumed they did.

Jade came to the end of the stairs, no one was at the top. only two big bronze doors with a note saying 'wait for professor'.
Rowan stopped next to Jade and they waited

I stole a look outside and followed everyone.

(I think you should be older, so you can kinda show us like the secrets/ mysteries of the castle, but you can still go to classes with us, and for the dorm situation, it could be like you said 6 or 7 people to a dorm with one or two older people watching us making sure we dont do stupid stuff)
