Sage sang softly to herself as she walked down the street, passing the restaurant. Well, it wouldn't hurt to stop maybe… But then mom and dad might flip…

Onyx sipped his tea watching this and chuckleing

The very confused, but nevertheless satisfied customer walked away and out of the restaurant, as Zackary huffed gently.

She shrugged, already spinning up a lie as she walked in

Zackary looked over his shoulder for Cameron as he pocketed the money.

The greeter who took over Nyx's shift greeted Sage. "Welcome to Cameron's Seafood! Would you like a booth or a table?"

"Booth please." She said politely.

She smiled warmly at her, collected a menu and led her across the retro-styled restaurant, which was full of happy people and good smells wafting from the kitchen.

She smiled as she walked through, sitting down and thanking her before pulling out her phone to tell her parents she was at a friend's house studying and asking her friend to cover for her

A pleasant waft washed over Zackary, one no one else could smell. His nose twitched and he glanced over at Sage, pinning the flowery scent on her.
Ah, an Earth one, eh? Interesting. He grinned a little, showing unnaturally pointed teeth.

She put her phone away, looking over the menu

Zackary sat down on a stool behind his counter, still spying at Sage in his peripherals. Should I approach her? No, that'd be weird. Anyway, she's just a kid. Maybe she doesn't know it yet.
