She shook her head. "Hey, I'll get in trouble for something anyway. Might as well be for this."

Cameron sighed gently. "If you say so."
Zackary grunted. "Look, I'm finding myself agreeing with Cameron. It's kinda a stupid thing to throw away some of your freedom."

Sage smirked. "I won't if I'm finally becoming the lady I could be and doing such a nice project!" She said in a falsetto voice, making a face.

Cameron raised an eyebrow as Zackary grunted softly with a laugh.
"I get it, but kid, seriously, you can't risk it."

"Can. Seriously, I've had this one project done for weeks that I could show them."

Zackary leaned back onto the balls of his feet. "What if it doesn't work, huh? What if they call your teacher?"

"The project is actually due… I just snuck a peek at the lesson plan so I could get it over with." She said. "Mainly because that teacher makes the worst fucking projects."

Zackary waved a finger at Sage. "I like you."

Sage smiled. "Why, thank you."

Zackary grinned at Cameron, who glared at him fiercely. Zackary's grin faltered but didn't fade.

"Soooooo…"

The other two turned their attention on her.
"Oh, you can go back now."

She nodded. "Thank you." She said, walking to head home. If she hurried, she could play off having her homework done except for what would take the longest

Zackary leaned against the wall. "So… uh… I'm gonna go back to work now."

Amai sighed and walked into the restaurant. Today had been a busy day, but he still had a smile on his face.

(Hoi peeps)

Miko was sitting down at one of the tables looking out the window, waiting for a waitor to come.

Cameron leaned off of the fridge. "Can you wait people today? It's kinda inconvinent Nyx left, but it's alright."
"Cameron, if you're any more lenient, I'd think you… nevemind." Zackary shook his head and slunk out of the kitchen.

(Hey guys)

The greeter greeted Amai at the front counter. "Welcome to Cameron's Seafood! Would you like a seat at a booth, the bar, or a table?"

"This damn service sucks." She kept waiting

“Table please,” Amai smiled.

Zackary drifted over to Miko, hearing what she said. "Hey, sorry about the wait. What would you like as a drink?" He sensed a strange aura about her. One of calm control. She's one. A different one…

"Coffee, hustle it because I'm going to be late for work." She said grumply.

The greeter led Amai past them, and the hairs on the back of Zackary's neck rose. Another? How…
"Coming right up!" Zackary blurted out and hurried off.

The greeter sat Amai down with a smile, not bothering to notice Zackary running past them. "Zackary'll be right over to get an order on your drink."

Zackary ducked into the kitchen and poured a cup of coffee, his hands shaking.

Miko was confused, "Why does he seem surprised?"

Amai shrugged, “Dunno, that was kinda weird, huh?” Amai decided to try and start a conversation with the girl in the table next to him.

Zackary wiped his forehead, feeling something on it. He looked at his arm, which was heavily smudged with black.

Oh god. Just f** me right now.

Miko crossed her arms and looked over at the table next to her, "Oh hi, I didn't even see you there."
