Henry laughed at the joking tone but threw his hands up in surrender.
”Actually, I will need Henry’s help to get the Aussie back home.” Lysander commented.
Betty pouted " fine" she said letting go of him.
”Don’t worry, Bets. I’ll behave.” Henry said calmly. ”I promise.”
She opened one of the cabinets and pulled out a box labeled sleepy time tea and she got out a cup and started making the tea
Lysander sat down at the counter. ”Is there anything else we need to plan for this wedding or should we discuss anything else?”
”I’ll make sure they don't throw rice.” Henry offered. ”Nothing like stalling everything because the groom can't move.” he chuckled with a shudder.
" it be hilarious " she said with a giggle
”Not for me, darling.” Lysander shook his head at the thought.
She closed her eyes as she took a sip of her tea
Lysander smiled watching her, so glad to have her back in his life.
She sat on the counter with her tea
Henry looked at his brother and couldn't help but chuckle at the lovestruck look on his face.
The girl on the counter welped in pain and lifted up her shirt revealing large cuts
Lysander practically jumped to her side in a second as he saw the injury. ”What happened?”
"Fights" she said " wolf Mafia.fights to be exact" she said.
”Wolf mafia? How did you get involved with that?” he asked.
"Alec" both Betty abd Tyler said
Lysander’s eyes flashed red for a moment at the mention of him.
”How was/is he involved with them? Normally, they don't really like vampires.” Henry asked, a bit more calm than his brother.
" because he threatened a wolf not realizing it was a mafia and I had to save him and got my ass handed to me" she said
”That sounds like the stupid kind of thing he would do.” Henry scoffed.
Lysander raced to the bathroom and brought back the first aid kit.
She growled " I'm fine" she said
”How long ago did this happen?” Lysander asked, knowing it had to be recent if it still hurt her.
"three months ago before I came back" she said
Lysander sighed and nodded. ”Then it’s not as bad as I thought.” he admitted grabbing a numbing cream.
" I've been having Darren treat them at work" she said
”Darren?” Lysander asked calmly. ”Work where?”
" occasionally I have been becoming part of my brothers pack" she said
”Oh.” Lysander nodded a little relieved. He may only know one of her brothers personally but he trusted them to keep Betty safe. ”Family business.”
