She had a faint blush as she looked at him then back at the mirror
He smiled at seeing her blush and wrapped his arms gently around her, still standing behind her.
She looked back at her figure pulling on the shirt
He frowned thoughtfully at her actions. ”Is everything alright, love?”
She nodded and a piece of hair fell in her face
He gently tucked the loose piece of her hair back behind her ear. ”You know you can tell me if something is bothering you.” he reminded her softly.
" do I look ugly to you" she asked
He looked at her in slight confusion. ”Of course not, love.” he assured her. ”You’re the most beautiful woman in the world to me.”
She looked at her knees through the mirror to see them bruised
”Why do you ask?” he inquired gently, following her gaze and noticing the discoloration on her knees.
" just because I feel like I am" she said
He hummed softly in acknowledgment and kissed her cheek. ”Well, let me put those worries to rest.”
" How?" She asked
”Simple.” he said softly, looking at her. ”Laura-Beth.”
¨She looks like you. . .mostly¨ she said.
”No.” he shook his head with a soft smile. ”She looks like her beautiful mother. All she has from me are my green eyes.”
She looked in the mirror " she has your nose and chin" she said
He chuckled slightly. ”I’ll take your word on that but everything else is from you.”
She leaned back laying her head on his chest
He smiled lovingly at her and kissed her forehead.
" Don't kill Evan I love him" she said
He blinked in surprise at the accusation. ”I… wasn't planning to.”
She smiled " good" she said
”I may get jealous but he's still my king… and apparently my biological brother.” he sighed a little. ”But honestly, there's really only one I wouldn't mind seeing dead.” he admitted.
She turned around to look at him " Hey don't I'm right here with you" she said
”I know you are.” he said softly, cupping her cheek. ”I just wish I could have met you before he did, then none of that would have happened to you.”
" I know but Your here now you can protect me I love you so much and I couldn't bare to loose you ever you are the love of my life the light to my darkness" she said
”I love you too… So much.” he said. ”And I will gladly protect you. I don't want to lose you again, my dearest love.”
" good now " she said and jumped up wrapping e legs around his waist " take me to bed" she said
He chuckled and caught her as she jumped against him. ”Of course, my angel.” he smiled. Attempting to walk like this would be a little difficult, however, so instead, he lifted himself an inch off the ground and glided over to the bed.
