”Grandpa was there.” Laura-Beth told her. ”He said he couldn't take me flying anymore.”

She looked at her "tell me what exactly your dream was" she said

Laura-Beth did her best to explain but somethings were bound to get lost in translation since she was so young.
In her dream; her Grandpa Charles often took her flying, holding her safely in his arms as they looked down at the world. She saw him sitting in a rocking chair near a window and when she ran over to him, he smiled and picked her up, holding her in his lap. ”I’m sorry, darling. I can't fly with you anymore.” he told her just before she woke up.

"Honey why don't you go downstairs with daddy" she said

”Ok, mama.” she nodded, sliding off her bed and walking towards the door, still sleepy.

She looked down at Adrian

Adrian looked up at her, not understanding what had just been said.

"it's okay my little snow ball" she said

Adrian giggled at the nickname as Cole finally woke up.

She smiled kissing his nose

Adrian smiled, placing both hands on her cheeks.

Lysander walked back up to the children's bedroom door. ”Need an extra hand getting them downstairs?” he asked with a smile.

She shook her head smiling down at Adrian

Lysander smiled and walked in, picking up Victoria. ”I’m making some oatmeal for Laura-Beth and the coffee's almost done.” he told Betty as Victoria gripped his ear.

"can you take her?" She asked

”Of course, I can.” he smiled, gently removing his ear from Victoria’s grip.

She smiled gently

He smiled back at her. ”Are you ready to take the boys down?” he asked.

"I will in a minute" she said

“Alright, love.” he nodded before taking Victoria down to the kitchen.

She smiled walking over to Cole's crib

Cole looked up and reached for her.

She used one arm to pick him up and one arm to hold Adrian

Cole yawned and leaned against her shoulder.

She kissed his hair

Adrian babbled, tapping his hands against her other shoulder, almost impatient to be fed.

" youu two are so beautiful" she said

Cole smiled sleepily and nuzzled against her.

She smiled and made her way downstairs

Laura-Beth was already in her booster seat with her little pink bowl in front of her as Lysander poured some coffee for him and Betty, still holding Victoria in his other arm.

She brought the boys to the table with a smile
