”Everything alright, Betty?” Lysander asked, seeing her eyes turn white.
" great" she said.
Lysander hummed contentedly at her answer with a small smile.
”Do you guys want me to give you some time alone?” Henry asked, feeling a little awkward like he was intruding on the two of them.
Betty turned to Henry and hugged him.
Henry was surprised by the sudden action but smiled and returned the gesture. ”You could have just said that you wanted me to stay.” he chuckled. ”I really am happy for you, Bets.”
" thank you" she said gently.
Henry chuckled and hugged her a bit tighter. ”I can come to the actual wedding, right? I'm not expecting to be the best man or anything but… I would like to be there.”
" of course " she said with a smile then turned to Lysander.
Lysander met Betty's look with a soft smile. ”He can come.” he nodded. Honestly, Lysander wouldn't mind if Henry was the one to give Betty away at the wedding, instead of her father, but that was Betty's choice.
”Thank you.” Henry told them.
Betty wrapped her arms around lysander kissing his cheek.
Lysander smiled and returned the hug before picking her up and spinning around once.
Betty giggled and looked at him " cute" was all she said.
”Yes, you are.” Lysander replied lovingly.
She rolled her eyes playfully and kissed him quickly
Lysander smiled into the kiss before Betty pulled away.
Henry cleared his throat a little awkwardly. He really was very happy for the couple but he didn't know what to do around them when they were being romantic with each other.
" sorry Henry" she said not looking at him.
”It’s alright, Bets.” Henry assured her. ”Just don't know what to do right now.” he admitted. ”Unless you want to learn anything.”
She closed her eyes and late her head on Lysander chest
Lysander smiled and held her close, mouthing a quick ”sorry” to Henry. ”You’re welcome to my library if you want. I have that vampire ”comedy” series you gave me.” he smirked teasingly.
Henry rolled his eyes at the hint before shooting his brother a playful glare. ”Nice try but I wouldn't be caught dead reading her books.”
" I read them once I cried over the werewolf for a week" she said.
Both the men blinked in slight surprise as they realized she knew what they were talking about. ”You read those books?” Henry asked.
" I was a teenager once every teenage girl reads that mainly for one one reason the werewolf because he was so much better looking" she said.
Lysander chuckled a little. ”Normally, I’d be a little hurt by that, but even I have to agree he was the better choice.”
Henry smirked a gave a small nod. ”Yeah, the vampire in those books was pathetic.”
she rolled her eyes and gagged ¨makes me sick thinking about him¨ she said.
”None of the vampires in those books even deserve the name.” Henry pointed out.
”Can we change the topic, please?” Lysander laughed.
she let out a laugh and rolled her eyes playfully.
Henry chuckled. ”So, should I make myself scarce or would you like me to teach you something about being a real vampire?”
she took a deep breath ¨alright teacher whats the first lesson¨ she asked.
Henry shrugged. ”Well, if you're up for it we could start with your new reflexes and speed. You're a lot faster now and stronger.” he smiled. ”Trust me, you could punch a hole straight through a tree if you wanted.”
Lysander nodded in agreement, before pulling a slight face in surprise as he realized how often he had been agreeing with Henry lately.
Betty nodded, ¨Alright¨ She said turning away from Lysander to face Henry.
