He smiled back before going to get the kids out of their car seats, though Laura-Beth insisted that she try on her own.
Betty tried to wheel herself to the house
“Don’t strain yourself, mon amour.” Lysander called as he managed to get Laura-Beth out of her seat and started working on the twins.
She only got about ten feet before stopping for breath
Lysander had changed his mind and got Cole out of the car first then carefully handed the little boy to Laura-Beth, making sure she was holding him right. He looked up and made Laura-Beth sit down at the car before quickly heading over to his wife. “Are you alright?”
"This is pathetic " she said
“No. No, it's not.” he assured her. “Remember when I first hurt my leg? It took me a while before I was able to stand up again. But you were there for me the whole time… So I'll be there for you.” he promised.
she looked at him smiling softly
He smiled sweetly back and lightly kissed her forehead. “Do you think you can hold the twins and I’ll carry Cole and push you in the house?” he offered.
She nodded
“Alright. I'll be right back then.” he smiled and kissed her cheek again before hurrying to the car.
She smiled softly closing her eyes once more waiting on him
Lysander carefully unbuckled the twins from their car seats and carried them over to Betty.
She heard him walking and opened her eyes and her arms for the twins
He smiled and gently handed the twins over.
Victoria giggled happily at her while Adrian started making a soft noise as she held them.
She smiled down at the two kids with white hair
Lysander smiled softly at the sight before walking over to Cole and Laura-Beth.
“Mmm…” Adrian mumbled looking up at her and gripping a strand of her hair.
She looked over at Adrian and smiled
“Ma… Mama.” Adrian finally managed to get the word out.
Her eyes widened before she smiled kissing all over his face
Adrian squealed at the kisses. “Mama!” he said again, smiling.
Lysander had just walked over, holding Cole in one arm and Laura-Beth’s hand in his free one. “Did he just…” he trailed off softly with wide eyes.
She nodded turning to look at him
Lysander smiled with a soft chuckle. “Way to make today extra special, Adrian.”
Betty smiled, showing off her canines
Lysander smiled back and kissed her forehead before walking behind her. “Ready to go in?” he asked, holding the handle on the back of her chair.
She nodded" yeah, I am" she said
Lysander nodded a little and started pushing her to the house.
Laura-Beth ran ahead of them to open the door.
Betty smiled at laura-beth
Laura-Beth smiled back and opened the door when her parents got close.
She sighed as Lysander wheeled her inside the house
