”Do you want me to?” he asked placing his hand on the doorknob but he didn't turn it yet.
"of course I do" she said
Hearing that, Lysander dropped the illusion, opened the door and walked into the room unafraid but still concerned.
Betty had closed her eyes not noticing
Lysander was a little worried when he saw her with her eyes closed. No, he wouldn't let himself think about the worst-case scenario right now. She was still his Betty who he loved and was going to marry. ”Betty?” he said softly as he stood nearby.
Betty looked at him her eyes still blue there was blood around her cuts everywhere that just werent healing.
Lysander smiled and moved closer to her, sitting next to her. ”It’s alright. I'm here.” he said taking her hand.
she quickly pulled her hand away and hissed in pain
”Hey. It's alright.” he said softly. ”I'm not leaving you.”
¨Shes killing me¨ betty mumbled.
Lysander knew exactly who she meant. ”Do you really think she can? Without you, she wouldn't exist. I'm… familiar with that type of torture.”
¨It´s different she´ll kill me to get out´ she said ¨Im trying my best to contain her¨ betty said.
He sighed and held her as close as he could. ”But you are stronger than she is, my light. If you ever feel like she will break out then I'll be strong with you.”
¨She´ĺl take over and you won´t get the real Elizabeth Strange for months maybe years¨ Betty said.
He shook his head. ”As long as you promise to come back to me, I’ll wait for you. I wish you didn't have to go through this but if there's nothing that can be done… Then I'll be here for you. Only you.” he promised and kissed her cheek.
"remember if you hurt her you'll hurt me" she said.
He nodded. “I suspected as much.”
Betty kissed him gently
He kissed her back, letting it linger.
She rested her forehead against his with a sigh
Lysander gave her a reassuring smile and ran his fingers through her hair.
”Ow.” Henry muttered as he walked back inside the house, smoke wafting off him as his skin was slightly red and had a few burns.
Tyler walked over to him and ran her thumb over his cheek¨ are you Ok¨ she asked.
Henry hissed slightly at the contact but didn't stop her. ”I’ll be alright, just spent too much time in the sunlight.” he shrugged. ”I’ll heal.”
Tyler heard him hiss and slowly started to move her hand
Betty sighed closing her eyes.
“Sorry. It just stings a little.” Henry told her.
Lysander continued to play with Betty's hair and held her gently.
Betty´s Eyes flashed Red and she laughed
Lysander was startled by the sudden action but it didn't take long for him to figure out what it meant. ”Well, this is an interesting first meeting.” he commented offhandedly as he let go of her and stood up.
